[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm trying to remember who was sitting in his seat before him -- I gave the same quiz to two classes in a row, in the same classroom.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I took ltc to the pediatrician today. I was worried that she had caught TCG's stomach bug because she was spitting up more than normal and was very unhappy. The doctor seemed to think she was fine, but told me I could give her some pedialyte if she seemed to be getting dehydrated. Then we went to the farmer's market, because she actually sleeps better when being pushed around in the stroller or driving in the car. It was the last day for the Farmer's Market. I feel like I missed most of Summer and Autumn in a fog of pregnancy and new parenthood.

Thrive to spite them

I went in and did my exit survey. My official last day is Nov 1, not that I've gone in. I just need to go and stock up on batteries and things that are small and I know I can get cheap with my employee discount. Also trade out my headset again, this one is starting to hiss. i have the worst luck.

askye, best of luck with everything.

I believe if ltc could speak, she would tell me I am the worst mother ever. I have to use a nasal spray and one of those bulb shaped nasal aspirators on her, and she hates them both so very much.

Awww, I remember when Baby Lillian would reach across in sympathy and block the nasal aspirator from other babies at the daycare.

That's adorable.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I had a dream last night that I got to visit sj and ltc. It was a very sweet way to wake up.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Awww. Poor ltc.

I dreamed last night that I was hanging out in a garden with my mom. It was remarkably non-acrimonious. Except for the part where there were two-foot long fire ants. We were commenting on whether we should put saddles on them and let my sister's Pomeranian try to ride them. Then we had to stop my cat from attempting to stalk them. It wasn't unpleasant or scary when I was actually in the dream. Just weird. Kinda nice hanging with mom again, though.

My sister is coming to visit me for my birthday. That will be fun. (It also means that I need to clean up my apartment.)

Thrive to spite them

Mom's getting here on the 11th. We'll be leaving for North Carolina on the 13th, I think.

SO MUCH TO DO! I AM FREAKING OUT!! STill need to get Penny to the vet. And pack. And figure out about getting my car to salvage and find a box for my tv and and and. I'll get it all done though.

I did have to get another phone ordered because mine isn't working right -- hardware issues. It's on back order so it will be here in 5-7 days. If it takes more than 15 they'll get me one. I can use mine it just...sounds like the number pad is being touched when it's not. Even when I have the phone on speaker.
