Let's hope she doesn't learn to say "I'm melting!"
Heh!
Wash ,'The Message'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Let's hope she doesn't learn to say "I'm melting!"
Heh!
~ma to the husband, Sox.
Let's hope she doesn't learn to say "I'm melting!"
Hee.
Much health~ma to all of you who need it.
Also, I read a bit back. Much love and awe and ~ma for Strix and those of you who were (and are) here.
And thank you, all, for your words.
Thanks, Shir. Suport and kind words and compassion are being really helpful for me at this point in my life. So, thank you very much for your kind words.
And gosh, I hope this next year is so much better for you. It seems just to have been devastatingly wretched.
Took my car for inspection and it wasn't as anxiety ridden as I had thought.
My car failed. Spectacularly. There was the list of things that needed to be fixed for inspection and the list of things to get it to NC (but possibly not last longer than that). They started doing an estimate and about halfway through the added it up to $1800 and I told them to stop. (this includes new tires and alignment)/
It's a 1998 Honda Accord. They still weren't to the REALLY expensive stuff at that point and I think it was going to be double that. Not worth. There's leaks, the brakes are bad, there's a rotar thing going on and all sorts of assorted and assundry problems. Mostly due to the fact it's a 17 year old car.
So. It'll end up in a salvage yard I have some people to contact. And it makes the move logistics easier.
Ugh, sorry about the car realization, but it sounds like you were prepared for the inevitable.
I have been more than usually buried in deadlines and stress and all kinds of not enough hours in the day, money in the bank, or energy stores to manage all the stuff mode. But I do see an end to it. Big stupid phase 2 test for government certification stuff tomorrow. There will be a phase 3 for whatever doesn't get passed or finished, so just do the best we can. New customers coming up, instead of 8 offices, now 10 offices, so lots of work, which clearly has both good and bad elements. And huge new project type meetings in the next few day. Short version, whatever will be will be, but at least I'll have some resolution to lots of the balls in the air by end of next week. So yeah, some sleep should be on the immediate agenda.
Other than that, I do pop in when I can and read if not post and want to see more posts in my very few still subscribed threads! I have this fantasy that I will be able to subscribe to more threads some day soon when I can do things like watch tv and movies and read and have thoughts to add to discussions. Ah, that is the thing of dreams, right?
I hope it's all good resolutions .
The car is a relief. I was worried it would need some repairs. Just enough to feel I could put money into only to need to put more money in it in a few months.
I've had it most of those 17 years so I go my money's worth.
So my current fav of the BPAL scents I got is Sherlock Holmes. Got it for Cody but decided I like it for me too. I do hope that the scent wasn't the thing that triggered my headache yesterday!
Apparently my aunt called my mother concerned about the skulls in ltc's photos.
what was her concern?
