Haven't watched AoS yet, so I can't go into Marvel, so I'll post this here.
Once again, Karen Hallion hits me right in the feels with one of her tees:
Riley ,'Potential'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So, I'm in this play, and it's more than a little of a clusterfuck. Just a mess from beginning to end. The amount of tongue-biting I've been doing is fucking epic, you guys.
So, there's this guy in the play, like 23 years old. He was hugely excited yesterday because I speak media nerd, which I was generally happy to go, although, well, he #notallmen 'd me during the conversation. I did call him on it, because no.
Tonight, he dropped 2 lines (note: we do the play with scripts in hands). The other two of us in the scene got scolded by the director (which is really rich when we haven't gone 5 minutes--with 1 dress rehearsal left--without him stopping us). So, backstage, kiddo starts telling us that we have to keep going when things like that happen. And I said, "Dude. You don't get to lecture us when you were the one who fucked up. Just don't."
So, of course, at the END of rehearsal, he says, "well, I'm really exhausted because I had to take my mom into the ER today for pnuemonia." Which, you know, I feel you, but that's some dirty pool.
ugh DebetEsse that sounds like they're taking all the fun out of being in a play.
(((Shir))) A hell of a year, indeed. Much love to you and all your family, and if your pursuit of an MLIS abroad sends you in the US you know you've got safe places to land all over.
So great to see your pixels, Shir!
And, now that I'm actually awake, wow, Shir, that's quite the year! Much ~ma to you and yours.
Ugh, Debet. I hope the next rehearsal goes better.
My weight has officially leveled off. So, if I want to lose anymore. I'm going to have to do something other than eat all the things while sitting on the couch breastfeeding. Time to set up the Fitbit and starting eating more fruits and veg.
PT has done and actually worked really well. I got pool time and it looks like they are going to have half ultrasound/stretching and half in the pool. It's so much easier on my knee. I was really sore after yesterdays walk and stairs adventure. BUT after PT I went to the grocery store and came home and my knee wasn't sore (it was sore all through PT). I'm still planning on icing it later if it hurts but so far so good.
....I just had a mental image of me putting buttercream icing on my knee. I may have watched too much Great British Bake off recently.
I gave myself 2 tasks - call Hartford (check) , call to make appointment for car inspection (not check). I have huge anxiety around that and I'm not sure why...oh the fear of being judged. Which is coming up a lot lately.
Mom is having an awesome vacation with her sisters and brother (they haven't been together for 5 years) and I briefly talked to her about how I really need her help especially with my knee and she was like "I was waiting for you to find out about your car." oh. Okay so I have to figure out if the car can make it to North Carolina. But I still need help.
So tomorrow's tasks are: get boxes out of car (don't know where I'll put them) and call about car inspection. I think I have some insulation tape and duct tape I'll be using to tape up boxes. And maybe get the bags of books for Goodwill in the car.
Are we not doing the delurking this year? I'm around so little it almost feels more appropriate.
I'm doing well. Shooting lots of background lately which means long days for pitiful pay - but it's a means to an end, someday will be less pitiful pay, and will result in me being all over Orange is the New Black next season. My love to you all. Xoxoxo
