Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

move out and draw fire

I feel that I should clarify that in my story about changing Mal on the workstation of the bitchy United Airlines person, I did in fact use my foldable changing pad.

But I still threw the dirty diaper in the trash bin there. Because where else could I throw it? We weren't allowed to leave the area until the UA woman got done with her break and lunch and phone calls and whatever else, and there weren't any bathrooms.

And certain things happen to people during descent - adults fart and babies are a bit more productive.

I apparently slept right through my alarm and missed an appointment to have more fluid drained from my abdomen. I feel terrible because they had squeezed me in, plus I feel terrible because I'm puffed up like a penguin. Now they have to make an appointment at a hospital, rather than Kaiser, which sucks. Someone was supposed to call me back ASAP about that. It's been two hours and I don't have any number to call back.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Ugh, Ginger. I'm sorry.

Confession we did actually change ltc on the table after the shower, using a changing pad. However it was after the guests had left and the tablecloths were going to be changed for the next party.

I have Nicole and her DH ariving tonight. Be very jealous. Sadly ltc has required lots of attention today so my house is still a disaster. TCG is due home in 20 minutes to take me and ltc to my post baby doctors appointment and I still have to get us both dressed. That is, if this current feeding ever ends.

It's a house with a new baby in it, anyone who quibbles about your housekeeping in that situation is very silly.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ugh Ginger, that's a bummer

Always Anti-fascist!

My yearly onerous is getting complicated too. Ugh! Hate. And some of the people "on my side" are making it worse, out of a dangerous combo of naive and self-interested, and I can't even, as the kids say. But, you know, she stirred up a panic, so that's good.@@

After I had spend hours hovering over the phone, I finally got a call from Kaiser referrals. If I hadn't been desperate for a phone call, I wouldn't have answered it, since it came from "private caller." She said she had faxed a referral to the hospital. She also said she had sent my films, which is weird because I don't have any for this. She said she was giving me the number for hospital's radiology scheduling and I wrote it down. When I called, the number was for Kaiser's radiology scheduling and I got voice mail. I left a teary message asking if they had the number.

I am not having a good day.

I'm so sorry, Ginger.

My doctors visit went well. I'm cleared to drive, and I'm down 30 lbs from the weight I was at my last visit! The diabetic counselor who scoffed at a diet plan that was essentially taking care of a newborn and breastfeeding can bite me.
