Thrive to spite them

I am waiting for the case manager agaib. The appointment was at 11. It's 11:22. This happened last week. She doesn't go over to compensate for the delay. Maybe I was wrong about the time but I'm not going to wait much longer for her.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

What is up with therapists being late? Of all people who should know better.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

That's what I'm saying, but it has been a consistent problem with every type of therapist I've ever seen.

Sj would you feel comfortable bringing up the fact that if you were this late it wouldn't be acceptable and because if that you expect him to hold the same standard?

I did, and I told him it was very difficult to make my mother keep the baby out later than expected because she needs to be fed.

I do hope it works out. I can imagine it is much more convenient to have him come to you.

It really is at this point, which is the only reason why I'm still putting up with this at all.

How is the nursing going? I often have a pang of guilt because it was so easy and such a joy for me while I know so many women that were unable (or unwilling) to do so for a number of reasons.

It's going really well for the most part. I have plenty of milk and have from the beginning, which is great. She eats a lot during the day, which can be frustrating, but then she sleeps in big chunks at night. So, I don't feel I can complain too much. My biggest complaint is that sometimes when she's done instead of just delatching, she pulls at the nipple, which really hurts. Any advice on how to get her to stop doing that?

Our wings are not tired.

It has been a number of years, but I generally remember using a finger to break an overly enthusiastic latch. I was also grateful that the boys were super late getting teeth!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

That was the advice I was given too, Laura, although neither of my kids picked up that habit so I can't really speak to its effectiveness.

I got a call turns out she was in a meeting. She thanked me for coming in which confused me because she didn't cancel.

Then I went and got my hair trimmed and was rude but I was frustrated. I hate my hair I kinda want to grow it out and try a Bob again but that means it will be in my eyes a lot.

The stylist was like I gave you options when I said there really wasn't anything she could do to like my hair. The options were cut over the ears or trim the back. Not exactly a style.

She wasn't going to charge me but I made her.

I'm in a mood.

I do that, but if she's cranky or gassy, she'll keep doing it. So, I was hoping for a way to make her stop doing it altogether.

She also stares intently at nothing and occasionally smiles and coos at nothing, which is a little unsettling.

They are in their own world for sure. Every single thing is new and fascinating. Toes! Mom! Light! Leaf!

The most unsettling moment I had was with Bobby when he was a toddler. Sitting in his car seat in the car he told me all about how he used to be my father with different stories about when I was a little girl and he took care of me. FREAKY!
