Yay, ltc stories and hope the sleep thing gets better!
{{{{Maria and family}}}}} I just don't know what else to say.
Epic, I'm glad things are getting better for you and your mom's situation. I know it won't get "easy" but every little thing helps.
Hil, I hope your shoulder gets to feeling better. Body aches suck!
Sail, I hope you can find help for your son. That situation seem mightily fucked up!
I feel like I only come in here occasionally, but it's always good to see everyone's pixels. I was feeling a bit down myself, but now I feel all protective and righteously angry by turns.
ltc had an explosive diaper tonight that made such a sound that it startled both TCG and I awake. Now she's having trouble settling back down.
I just received a very nice gift, but I do not recognize the name of the person it is from. I'm thinking maybe a buffista whose real life name I'm unfamiliar with.
ETA: Initials DS.
David Smay? ( I have no clue, honestly, it's just the first name with the initials DS thar came to mind.)
Hi, quester! Thanks for the good wishes. My daughter and I talked the situation over this past weekend and decided we're going to do what we can to bring Jesse up here. It means a lot of rearranging living situations and a lot of research to get all the resources he'll need, but with two of us working on the case it won't be nearly as onerous as trying to do it myself.
That sounds encouraging, SailAweigh. Sending all kinds of ~ma for things to fall into place. Holding you and your children in my heart.
I have my whining sad dog home. I think I mentioned in Natter, but not here. Zoe got hit by a car yesterday. Broke a chip off her shoulder and had a couple big gashes on her chest. She is sutured up and drugged up. Brought home 4 prescriptions. Mostly just keeping her calm for a few days. She has one of my t-shirts on to keep her away from the sutures, but she really hasn't shown much interest yet as she is still loopy.
Aw, poor sad Zoe.
Sail, that sounds like a good plan. May everything work out for the best for all of you.
