Thanks, erika. It looks like the big one in Phoenix is A Bridge to Independent Living; it's the only one that comes up that isn't a senior assisted living place. I've bookmarked it for further research.
ETA: My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family, Maria. What an utterly rotten world this is at times.
I'm so sorry, Maria. As much peace and comfort as possible wished to her and her family--and to you.
Epic, and Sail, all best wishes for getting stuff for your loved ones figured out.
Well, yeah, I wasn't sure that your relative is in my area, but, if he is ABIL is the one.
Maria, ~ma for your family. That's just awful.
Maria, I'm sorry. That's just awful.
ltc had her tongue tie clipped today and they seem to have replaced my good sleeper with a baby that will not sleep at all and won't stop eating.
I'm so sorry, Maria.
I am awake. It's still darkish out. I do not like this. (I'm waking up a bit earlier each day, so that I'll be ready for next week -- I'm teaching at 8 AM three days a week this semester.)
Epic, I'm so sorry and I wish you the best navigating these stressful waters over the next few weeks. I wish your family was more support to you.
Sail, bureaucracy ~ma to you and your son.
Maria, I'm so sorry. That's just awful.
Oh Sail, what a frustrating and painful mess. May a helpful resolution be found soon.
{{Maria and all}}
{{ltc and parents}} Eating is good and sleeping will happen too.
Mom's birthday was yesterday. Lots of family and friends and activity. All good.
