Around but not much longer--for some crazy reason I booked an 830 am flight tomorrow, so have to leave the house by 7. Which will give me time to do work in the afternoon at my hotel but I am still puzzled at my old self choosing such an early flight!

We've got Matilda's first day of 4th grade tomorrow. She's had her outfit picked out for several days, assembled and put carefully aside. Her backpack is prepped with new supplies, lacking only her lunch.
JZ and Emmett and I will take her in for her first day.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I'm doing. This orientation isn't required, but it seems like it will have some useful information. And the person organizing it asked about dietary restrictions, for the lunch, and I said that I was vegan, so I'm wondering what I'll get. I'm betting salad.

I once got served a block of tofu. No sauce, no seasoning, not cut up, just an entire block of tofu, put on a grill long enough to get grill marks.
