'Touched'

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

I agree with Zen and sj.

I went to the dentist. It wasn't bad. I got a laser thing to treat my gums and heal the pockets. I won't know if they are smaller until next time. But it was only $56 and hopefully it will heal/prevent further problems.

Yesterday was terrible. I felt terrible, teh lithium is doing a number on my digestive system. I skipped taking it before the dentist because I didn't want to deal with having to run to the bathroom while trying to get my teeth cleaned.

If this persists I'm going to talk to the psych nurse about it.

I really need to clean my living room and kitchen. I'm getting there but slow going. They are coming to add more propane on Thursday (I'm out and the gauge lied to me) and they need to come into the house and relight the pilot and do some check for something.

It's cooled off which is good.

I'm working three days next week. They put me on Thursday for truck - basically sorting stuff into totes for departments.

That's my update.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Feel better askye.

We're having a severe and a tornado warning. ltc doesn't seem pleased.

Grr. TCG just informed me that he is stuck at work for a meeting. I'm exhausted and cranky and now I get to figure out dinner for myself. I would grab takeout but Mom called to tell me most of Main Street appeared to be without electricity after the storm. t /diamond shoes

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Well, I got some stuff done today. Got a new drivers' license, registered to vote, did not get my car registered yet (but, working on it), got some prescriptions filled, and got some Gishwhes items done. Also, finally got my new university email account to work. Plan for the rest of the week is going to campus to fill out all my tax forms and stuff, unpacking some more, and doing a couple more Gishwhes items.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Hil, that sounds quite a lot of "some stuff". I'm impressed.

Oh, crud. I'd told the department at new job that I needed back-to-back classes to be in the same building. Just got my schedule, and, nope. Guess that's another thing I need to deal with later this week.

The Mexican place had power. So, I went to the Farmer's market because it's my last chance to go before the c-section, and then picked up take-out. TCG ended up getting home about 10 minutes after I did.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I've been having some eye troubles. Latest update, here.

brillig

I'm guessing you don't have insurance that will cover it?

No, we're pay as you go. We'll manage. We usually do.
