[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Well, I'll probably show up with a ton of food.

Well, we'll probably show up with big appetites!

What I would give for a transporter to pop over and help Buffistas clean house. Cleaning other people's stuff is less gruesome than cleaning my own.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I'm playing hooky from work. When I sat up to get out of bed, I got so dizzy I fell back. Tried again, slower, same thing. Third time was spinny but tolerable. Pretty sure it's "eustatian tube dysfunction" related to allergies. So I took a decongestant but I don't want to be stuck at work if that doesn't do the trick.

And I have really burp-y hiccups.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Take care of yourself, WS!

Good call staying home. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Thank you! I'n doing enough better that I can eat. Motion sickness from sitting in an armchair is weird.

ETA for a while when I first made it down stairs, both cats were hovering around me. Sammie has gone back upstairs to assume her usual napping location.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

WS, do you ever use the nasal spray decongestants? I've become a convert. They help open my Eustachian tubes better and faster than systemic decongestants. YMMV of course.

Always Anti-fascist!

Larry David is totally right--if the body was a car nobody would buy one...too much maintenance.

I use a saline nasal spray sometimes, but I have avoided decongestant sprays due to rebound effects. Are they better about that than they used to be?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My doctor said not to use them for more than three days in a row to avoid the rebound effect. I've found that to be about right. I can use them once or twice and that will be enough to take care of the congestion without rebounding.
