[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Pix,

do you have a consumer "fight back" person in your city you can contact? This is the kind of thing I contacted our State's Attorney General about years ago when Beau had a credit card situation (his mother opened up cards in his name that he did not know about).

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Can't they do an extension? Our refi took seven months and they had to extend twice. Not only that, but I lost my job during the wait and they informed us that the only thing left was confirming employment. Apparently it was a lie, as they gave us the loan even though I was unemployed at the time.

Our wings are not tired

We've been extended either two or three times already, and it looks like we have gotten yet another extension as of today. In the annals of even more insanity I got a call from one officer saying that the extension will cost us an additional quarter percent in points on the loan, and then about 45 minutes later a terse email from another officer out in Florida saying that since he hadn't heard anything from officer #1 about the extension we've been extended for 14 additional days at no cost to us. So yeah, not only are they not talking to us, they can't even keep their internal comminations straight.

So, we've either been extended for 16 days at a cost of a quarter percent in additional points, or we've been extended for 14 days at no cost to us. Who knows which one will win.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

So yeah, not only are they not talking to us, they can't even keep their internal comminations straight.

Yep! And they lose things.

We've submitted almost every single document more than once now, and some of them 3 or 4 times. There's one that I know we've submitted three times, and last time I checked our online status, it's again listed as needing to be submitted.

Pix & ND, I'm sorry that you are stuck with the evil big bank because of the interstate issue.

Pix & ND, remember that B of A is currently under investigation in several states for doing exactly the sort of thing they're doing to you (albeit often under foreclosure conditions).

It may be worth a call to the state banking commmission, and perhaps going very public (via consumer advocates, etc) about their apparent lack of good faith in dealing with you.

Much ~ma your way.

We may do that. What makes it even more fun is the property is in FL but we are in LA so it would be in both states. The problems seem to be originating in he FL office most often. Please, tell me how shocked you are.
