Angel: I appreciate you guys looking out for Connor all summer. It's just—he's confused. He needs time. That's all. Fred: Right. Time, and some corporal punishment with a large heavy mallet. Not that I'm bitter.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I think your DHL is like my UPS, Calli. Half the time UPS doesn't leave sticky note and I don't find out about the first one or two attempts and then I have to drive all the way across town to pick it up. They only just started offering the option to redirect to a UPS store, of which there is one only a few miles from me.

DHL, otoh, always leaves a note the first time. I can sign it,post it on the outside of the stairwell, and the next day it's left for me by the door. Now, this is the security door leading to the 2nd floor condos, so anyone could come by and snatch it, but my community is pretty decent and I've never had any problem that way.

As I mentioned to meara, the size 12 fits me perfectly. I checked my measurements this morning and mine are within a 1/2 inch of their stated figures, but a 1/2 inch over. So I'd say there's very little leeway with the sizing and it would be wise, if you're not sure, to order one size up.

Other than ordering different sleeve and neckline styles, I haven't really tried customizing things before. It could be that the patterns they use for standard sizes are pretty consistent, so there's little to worry about with fit if you can order an exact size, but the customizing body parts isn't so stellar. Which is a shame, because they have really cute dresses. Not so nuts about their pants and shorts selection, but I do love their dresses.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Calli, what Sail said is true. I order from eShakti fairly often, and if you sign the note they leave and post it back on your door, they'll leave it on your doorstep the next day. I've found it to be pretty painless.

Like Sail, I haven't tried their custom sizing yet (other than having sleeves and necklines altered, which has been great) because the standard sizing has worked well for me. And yay pockets! But I also only order styles of dresses that work well for my body type, so I'm already kind of self-customizing, I guess.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm up, dressed, and semi-caffeinated, the home energy assessment guy is late and hasn't called.

Home energy assessment guy just left, so now the question is more tea or a nap?

Ann, that's a ferret.

sj, I'd call that a no-lose situation.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

sj, I say go nap, choose nap. And then tea afterwards.

Our wings are not tired.

Nap then tea. Don't want to have to disturb the nap for having to go to the bathroom.

I'm pregnant there is no such thing as sleep that is undisturbed by the need to go to the bathroom. I'm trying to stay awake long enough to call TCG at lunch to give him a recap of the energy assessment. Then nap and then tea. I should be able to get in an hour before my next scheduled time to eat.

I tried that four times and they refused to leave it. Believe me, I signed all the slips.
