Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Thanks for the ~ma.

It's not Choate, but thanks anyway. It's a day school -- one with uniforms that are giving me a definite Gilmore Girls vibe.

Always Anti-fascist!

The only thing I hate about hot firemen(believe me, some of those seasons of Rescue Me might have been a slog otherwise) is that women I don't really know think they're being accepting/sex-positive with me by being all "Firemen, amirite? And you're, like, at ass-grabbing level...heh, heh, heh." Somehow, it has the same effect of someone saying out loud that I'm going to die alone, nibbled by Alsatians. Like, kill me now.(Not that I wouldn't really dig actually meeting a sexy fireman, but that whole rap is just...trying too hard or something--hate it SO much. Also, Poindexters are my weakness.) I've never told anyone that...I get the feeling ppl say other stupid things to me because they think I'm pretty, or salvagable, or whatever, and other crips might not know this one. Might think I think I'm hot.(I think I'm too hot to have a sex life comprised of pretending I touch people involuntarily, sure. But that's not a high bar is it?)

Thrive to spite them

Hil a lot of job~ma your way!!

So yesterday was a mixed bag. Talked to one of the therapists (he got really excited when I explained about the board and how there's a BSG board game being played...he's a nice guy) he had his own set of questions and he also seemed to be the only one who really GOT that this whole sitting around waiting and not having any idea of when things are going to happen (big picture wise ) is really really stressful for me.

So he pulled down a calaneder and showed me when I'll meet with the team (today possibly during one of the groups I want to go to). And explained kind of what will happen. There's a social worker who can help me talk to work. And then we marked out other times I'll probably meet iwth the doctor and mapped out groups I'll want to go to.

Which helped. It looks like I'll get my own room today (well I hope. depends on if people are discharged as planned) but it's up there on Things I Need.

I heard from my therapist and that was good.

So that's all the news I have

askye, it sounds like you have a good therapist there. I'm glad he seems to understand what you need.

Thrive to spite them

he does a few things activities and mindfulness and narrative therapy so he won't be the main person I work with. he's a geek. There is ZumBa later this week not sure how that works when no one can wear shoes with laces.

There are trainers with velcro closings; I have a pair myself. Maybe they have you do it barefoot?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm doing everything I'm supposed to do for GD, and my numbers are still all over the place. Some days perfect, some days crazy high on the same food and taking my glyburide. It's really stressing me out.
