I remember loving my waterbed when I was pregnant, I could actually sleep on my stomach. Of course, I was a lot younger, then, and didn't have back problems to start with. Do people even have waterbeds anymore? It seems like it was such a 70s thing.
IOmeN, my start date at my new job in June 8th. It's still feels a bit like I'm dreaming.
When we got married (mid-80s) we had a waterbed. So glorious to climb into after riding the motorcycle in the cold.
I had one in the 70s-80s. Loved it.
It cracked me up that my husband's first wife changed her babies on a waterbed...before disposable diapers...and constantly stuck the diaper pins in the mattress.
The heat in the winter? Heaven.
We turned the heat off on ours in high summer, glorious to lay on a big bag of cool water.
Well, I seem to have killed Literary ... guess I'll see if I can startle anyone here. The Smart Bitches had a review of a sort-of book. It's m/m were-cuttlefish porn.
I kept our waterbed into this century. I even had a single one for my son when he was little. It was replaced with a "real" bed against my will and desires. They still make them and I will have one again!
Good thing that Smart Bitches saved me reading that one! eta: re cuttlefish porn
I was kind of hoping for a response from billyt ... Australia has cuttlefish! (one of them the most poisonous one around ... of course).
I ate some cuttlefish last night (not a euphemism)!
So we went shopping at Old Navy. I need new pants... jeans, shorts, everything really. I couldn't find shorts the right length in my size but I got 2 new pairs of jeans - size 18!! Previously I was in a size 20 at Old Navy. They are a little snug in the waist but otherwise fits really well.
The tops I still need a 2x, the 1 x was a wee bit too snug. But losing weight! I hope my work pants fit, Ih aven't tried them on.
Tomorrow we're going to Burlington and have lunch, kick around, I'll have my therapy appointment. Friday we're taking the ferry to Plattsburg and hit Target. I need new dishes and curtains. Plus Mom wants to ride hte ferry.

For a minute, my brain thought it said that ita saved you from a porn link and I thought, "That is all wrong; ita would
post
the porn link." Sad now.
