It's not like diabetes will develop in the first couple of months of the baby's presence. I think you have time to get used to the new arrival before having to do anything deliberate about dropping any weight that doesn't go away by itself.
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
sj, is it possible to do gentle/light yoga? Yoga Journal has some great podcast routine things that clock in at about 25 minutes, if it is possible.
juliana, I need to look into finding some gentle seated yoga. My balance doesn't allow me to do much that requires standing.
sj, does your library have yoga DVDs? If so, look for this one: [link] I think it's mostly (or all) seated yoga.
Thanks. It's in the system for the library. So, I put it on hold.
I have used Sit & Be Fit with my mom and sister.
Sit and Be Fit was also what I thought of.
If you've got Amazon Prime, there were a few free seated exercise videos there the last time I checked.
Thanks, Hil. I do. I'll check that out.
Yeah, if you're born with a disability the world stops thinking of you once you're nineteen or so.(Which didn't used to bother me but danged if I don't keep living, despite my society's supposed urge to see me drop off a cliff.) OK, maybe not that, just that everything seems to remind me how different I am lately. And I pretty much filled out a survey for my alma mater that makes it look like mass communication graduates live on, like, prayer and fairy dust, cause there's no place to leave comments about how I'm a Special Case, yet again(And I started out feeling proud and like I had a lot to add to the conversation, even without playing my very favorite fucked-up kids'game "David Simon Says" but I can't talk about salary and stuff, because having one would be a very good-news/bad-news kind of deal for me for reasons that are a bit TL:DR for this board.
