[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hi Shir! Thanks. I should be asleep now, but sleep isn't quite happening.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Good morning, Shir!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Our wings are not tired.

And she's awake! Hi Shir! How are things on your side of the globe? Did you and your family have a good Passover?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Hi, Shir!

In other news, I may have a job. They're going to do a background check and, depending on how long that takes, I might be able to start work in a week or two. The pay's a big step down from my previous position, but it's a big step up from what I'm making now (diddly, with occasional squat). It'll be building Coursera courses for a nearby university. I interviewed for it last week, and I got to meet many of the people with whom I'll be working. They seem pretty nice and laid back.

Yay, Calli!

I did good enough for non-judgemental friends clean up job yesterday for having friends over for TV and dinner, and I just did a quick clean up of the spare bedroom because our oil guy is coming to give us an estimate on putting in central air. Because of the type of heating we have, we already have all the right duct work. So, the question is whether or not it will be that much more expensive that replacing the built in AC in our living room, which started to sound like the TARDIS last summer. It is nearly 70 today and this pregnant lady is already way too hot.
