Sounds like Doc #2's communication style is a better match with yours. This is a full and sufficient reason to switch. And it casts no aspersions on Doc #1's abilities or virtues.
sj, WS said what I would have, with one small addition...being polite is a premium in our culture, and frankly one that is sadly diminishing in prevalence and preference.
At the same time, when your well-being is in question, decorum cannot be more important. You can't control anyone's feelings.
Plus, what Laura said. Most practices are prepared for changes. I think they'd rather you be a happy customer, whatever that takes.

The landlord situation is no better. In fact, I'm even more amazed at how hard he works to be bad.
I have looked at a few places but have not found the right one.
This gov't contract would basically pay for my move, so fingers crossed!
