Oh, yuck. Please do school this guy, though.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Ick, Jilli.
I had pasta for the first time since my GD diagnosis, and had one of my best numbers yet. Go figure. I calculated that I could have 2 manicotti at dinner if I didn't have any other starches at the time. So, I saved the twice baked potato that everyone else was having for my supper tonight. My family was even really good about the time I had to eat and even showed up when they were supposed to. A very nice holiday, and my niece was so cute talking to her cousin in my tummy.
and my niece was so cute talking to her cousin in my tummy.Omigosh, that's just six kinds of cute.
I'm glad you were able to find a good balance so you could enjoy your meals.
I went to the doctor for my cough, again. Got a new bunch of prescriptions, again. Also got a steroid shot this time, since the oral and inhaled steroids don't seem to be enough. This is the beginning of my eighth week of coughing.
Oh Hil. All the anti-coughing~ma. I hope this stuff does the job.
Hil, I really hope something works soon.
We're home from our weekend at Mom's. I wasn't feeling good and only wanted toast with butter for dinner, but I was good and had a balanced dinner. So tired now.
Hil, I hope all that helps. K-Bug seems to have something similar but she is only in week 4. Personally, I'm hating on all the tree sex.
Separately, I scored a beautiful round pedestal dining table with 2 inserts, and 6 chairs for just $80 off our local online garage sale. They are for the new place and DO NOT fit in the current place. We have wedged the pieces in here and there through the apartment. 18 more days.
Thanks, everyone.
Now I'm trying to figure out why I've been dripping sweat all day. I thought I might have a fever, but I don't, and then I thought it might be because my classrooms were overheated or I was using a lot of energy while teaching or something, but I've been sitting on my couch for the last several hours, and the thermostat says it's 68 degrees in here, and I still feel like it's about 85.
OK, just looked it up, and one of the side effects of the steroid shot I got this morning is excessive sweating. So that explains it. It's in the list of "less serious side effects," not in the "call your doctor if you experience this" side effects, so I won't worry about it. I just feel all gross. My pajamas are all wet and clammy, and I feel like I need to take a shower, but I should probably do that in the morning if I'm going to be sweating like this all night anyway.
...and, the steroid jitters just hit. Which was rather predictable, since I've currently got injected, oral, and inhaled steroid running through my body. Sleep tonight might not be so much happening.
