Having that settled helps a lot. Takes so many ifs and whens away. I've had friends and relatives that did this and there was a certain peace of mind.

One of the peace of mind things is I know TCG will be home. I'm terrified about going into labor with him being an hour away.

So in plus news I totally forgot work offers short term disability insurance. And so today I got a call from the leave of absence caseworker saying that a packet of info was heading my way should be here in 3-4 business days and I had to have it returned to them on April 2. So More than likely it will get here Monday and I had to get it back by Thursday, I thought she meant via mail but they need it faxed back. Anyway I got an extension on that.

Then she reminded me to call the insurance company about getting the infor for them and I'll get 80%of my pay for the first 6 weeks. I guess if they approve it. They may not. At least I feel a little less like a burden.

Also talked to Will briefly and he's coming over tomorrow to show me where to get heating oil for quick fill ups until the tank is replaced.

He also told me he's meeting with the owner of another dealership about a possible job. They are having dinner now and discussing it. I know he's unhappy where he's working and this new job sounds like more freedom, more travel, but a chance to get out and make deals and also to be appreciated. He said the guy h e was talking to asked him how much he sold last year and when Will gave him the figure the guy was silent for a few minutes before saying he was shocked and impressed. At his current job he gets told he's not doing well enough.

Since this seems to be the day for medical stuff, I went to the doctor again because the cough I've had for over a month still hasn't gone away. Got a prescription for some prednisone and a steroid inhaler, which I really hope will work, because I'll be pissed off if I just paid $70 for a medicine that doesn't do anything for me.

The bandage is off, and it was so the right decision to go with distance lenses on both eyes. I've got near perfect vision at distance, and the mountains are clear and sharp. It gives me so much joy to look at the mountains and really see them. And it's spring, and I can see all the flowers on the trees.

I can read on my tablet without changing the settings. It looks like I'll only need reading glasses for actual books and knitting/beading.
