Quickest Drs appointment ever. My neuro wants me to have a c section to avoid further damage to my spine. Fine with me. I just needed someone in authority to say that so insurance will cover it.

Herding cats for fun

Oh my, that was a rant. Feeling rather better after having a crash and burn (remember the Pat Travers song?). Breathing dust always gets me. So does the pinched finger. Only one more week to go.

Always glad to hear things went well at the Doctor, meaning getting what I want instead of another useless lecture about something that is beside the point of my visit.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Rant away, K. Bee. That's a rotten situation, and the landlord seems to be making it worse. I'd be devastated if I were forced to move out of a place I'd been living in for 20 years.

Thrive to spite them

Boo to arrogant doctors. Boo.

So my appointments went okay. I'm staying with klonopin during day and ambient at night. At least for another two weeks. There are kind of 2 choices for outpatient care but one is out of network. So really one. My therapist had been in contact with both and I called today but by the time I got home the person was out of the office so I left a message.

Yesterday when I went out for cat food full on anxiety attack. Today wasn't so bad bit I need to return library books but I'm used up maybe tomorrow.

Tried calling Mom to update her but she was wrangling my nephew and she'll call me back. Also checked my fuel oil level for heat and I'm nearly out. Will has canisters and knows where to go so I texted him. Just waiting to hear back.

No more onerous tasks for today.

Rant as much as you need to, KB. I certainly have.

askye, that definitely sounds like enough onerous tasks for one day. I'm glad your doctor's appointment went well.

I am home. I have checked my sugar levels again and am having my afternoon snack, only 15 minutes late. I was feeling a little bad for myself because I couldn't get a treat for myself on the way home from the doctor (which is a tradition for me since I was a little girl), but then I came home to two packages from Nicole! Sherlock S1 & S2 DVDs, a Billie Holiday CD, and a Doctor who necklace (wibbly wobbly timey whimey...stuff)!

Our wings are not tired.

Sherlock S1 & S2 DVDs, a Billie Holiday CD, and a Doctor who necklace (wibbly wobbly timey whimey...stuff)!

Now that there is a seriously awesome treat!

It is! She said she was sending me "a little" something, that was most certainly not a baby gift (because I'm paranoid about those before baby is born). She lied about the little part.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Spoiler alert: my BP came down for the second measurement. So, my heart is in no danger of exploding. The doctor also suggested a few things for my IBS. And I retract my earlier snark, because the appointment was longer than 5 minutes.

From the time I left my house until the time I pulled in the driveway, it was one long unbroken streak of being nibbled to death by ducks, starting with the creepy guy on the steps of the library who harassed me and then wanted to know why I gotta be like that. Car's gas tank on empty, gas station #1 couldn't read my credit card, traffic was a dick, grocery store was full of people determined to be in my way, CVS couldn't find my prescription, traffic was a dick again, my car stereo is possessed by the devil.

But I got sushi and am eating a ridiculously late lunch, and then I am taking as long of a walk as my ankle will allow, because it's 70 degrees here, Bitches! Also I have 2 new books from the library: the new Veronica Mars novel and the new Gail Carriger novel. So yay!

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

sj, maybe this is the start of a new type of treat. Rather than food, it can be something else. I know it's hard not to focus on what you you can't have, but sometimes it helps me to flip it around to look at it as something new I can have.

ION, I'm sick. Why on earth must I get a cold at the end of March? I feel like crap.
