We're still working on a plan, but so far it involves being sent to prison and becoming somebody's bitch.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

What do pregnant women do for headaches? I know I can take tylenol, but I also know that will be useless.

I think my sister found some relief pinching the web between her thumb and forefinger.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

askye, that all sounds wonderful. I'm glad you're making progress.

I'm sorry I've been such a whiny bitca today.

Thrive to spite them

I keep getting told that I'm doing really well and that I'm very self aware. Doesn't feel like it all the time but if the professionals say it then I'll try to belive it.

Oh and previously Diane and brought up trying gluten free diet and I was resistant. Then I've thought about it. Would I rather not eat stuff and FEEL better or eat stuff and feel worse just because eating the stuff is easier? And hearing Steph talk about the gluten free and depression pushed me over to wanting to try it.

Not now, there's too much going on right now. But at some point.

I'm glad the professionals can see it and are saying it to you, because I can certainly see it from here.

Thrive to spite them

I'm trying and most of the session was about my relationship with Will, which I think I'm tired of talking about but at the same time I wish I could vent about a little bit more but it doesn't feel appropriate here.

It's more of a dreamwidth/lj type thing.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

askye, I'm glad the meds specialist had a plan for you. As for the gluten-free diet, I don't know a whole lot on that one. For some people it really is the gluten itself that is causing a reaction in the body, in which case trying out a gluten-free diet really is the only way to address things. But you could start by just cutting down on refined carbs, especially gluten-y carbs like white flour foods, and sugary carbs. Those are just not good to load up on for anyone, and the sugary foods especially elicit cravings that make it harder to avoid them. But once you get used to less sugar, the cravings tend to go away.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

askye, I'm glad therapy is useful and helpful to you. And you can absolutely talk about Will here. Vent away. We all have relationship issues. This is a safe space.

Thirding what Maria said.

We went out to dinner tonight, which was probably a stupid thing to do before going away for the weekend, but I spent most of the afternoon crying, so I needed to get out. I had an ice cream sundae for dessert.

It's more than 1) he's registered user here and 2) he knows about here and even though he's said he's not reading I don't want to feel like i'm talking about this in public.

You know?
