Chicago to Denver, then Denver to Hawaii
I wish you the swiftest trip to Hawaii and an uneventful return. But, if you get bogged down in Denver, let me know. I'd love to turn that into an accidental F2F.

Nope, not the rose bushes either. Besides, wouldn't you cut roses back there in late March or even April?
Hey sj, I just thought of something: have you tried ginge for the morning sicknessr? It's supposed to be good for nausea. We found some ginger pills that have worked for me, but I would check that it's okay to take while pregnant.
I can will haz Hil! It seems like 2 connections is pretty standard to get to Kona.
Speaking of trash, I should probably take my trash to the place where we take trash before Hil gets here. That...may or may not happen. Sorry, Hil.
Burrell, I have tried both ginger and lemon to some relief, but they don't really help me to eat or swallow medication. I don't think I could handle straight ginger tea, but I have ginger mints from Trader Joes and the good ginger ale made with real ginger. Mostly I think the post nasal drip from my cold is making it worse this week. My nurse said it is a good thing because my body is working extra hard to protect the baby while I'm sick. I did manage to avoid telling her to fuck off. I have the B 6 now and I'm hoping that will help, and I may pick up some seasick wrist bands because those are supposed to help too.
I hope the seasick wrist bands help you. I have gotten relief from nausea using the pressure points they use. And a friend of mine used them when he was in the Navy and got seasick.
For the first time since 2007, my university has cancelled classed for the entire day because of the weather. On the one hand, crap, my schedule is screwed, and how will my students be ready for the midterm? On the other hand, sleep!
I think I was supposed to trim them back before it snowed all over them. I don't really know about roses and they don't produce many roses (possibly due to neglect). If it were up to me I'd replace them something else.
There are a couple of plants taking over everything that I need to dig up, or maybe just let them run wild. I have a rhubarb plant that dominates most things and I don't eat rhubarb, so I let it go way more than it should. But I discovered I really like the flowers so I kind of want to see those again this year. For a huge plant the flowers are small and delicate.
Hah, I would've told that nurse to fuck off. Ugh. Hope things help.

From what I've read you can prune them back after the last frost in the Spring.

Thanks! I am back from my tests with a falafel sandwich that the ltc is actually letting me eat, and I'm even going to go to the library bookstore to shelve books.
