I finally got through to the nurse because my doctor is on vacation. More blood work tomorrow. Meanwhile, I got some B6, which the office said may help with my morning sickness.

Our wings are not tired

I'm supposed to find out sometime this week if my company is getting the additional contract with big client. I just want to know. I'm not doing well with being patient. If it is happening it's going to be a lot of scheduling to get things rolling and I just want to start to get that plugged into our calendar.

Okay, really trying to just wait and see.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

"I tried being patient but it took too long."

ND, I hope you get the contract. I hear you on not being patient. Also, my phone keeps trying to change ND to the word bad.

Thessaly and I randomly ran into out former coworker at our local TJ's today. He's working there now so I guess I'll be seeing him a lot.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Good luck with the waiting, ND.

sj, I hope you get to feeling better and that former coworker isn't an unpleasant person to bump into often.

2oz of whole wheat noodles, 3 oz of ground beef, half a bag of stir fry veggies, 2 tbs stir fry sauce, 1/2 tbs coconut oil.... very good supper, but why on earth am I still hungry?

If he avoids lecturing me on being a non-working drain on the system (which happened once) we should be fine.

Yum! Have I mentioned recently what a rock star TCG is for keeping me fed throughout this pregnancy? And also for having to put up with my unusually bland tastes? Tonight's dinner was roasted vegetables and polenta.

Herding cats for fun

no shame in whatever people do to make an honest living.

Never could understand the urge to poke fun at someone for a laugh. It's a low down dirty rotten thing to do, but people really enjoy doing it. Take my auntie, working at the WalMart down in the valley, putting up with people who had to tell everyone they were slumming because they were "from Aspen." Bragging is a real source of entertainment for Aspenites, who obviously suck. I will not abide it. I've been known to do some talking back.

Held a few of my bird stories against the day they flew away. Dave and I were sitting around in the yard watching the hummingbird at the feeder. I knew about the nest and was thinking that was the fattest, slowest, most bloated looking hummingbird I had ever seen. Then Dave spoke up and said, "Wow! That's the fattest hummingbird I've ever seen!" I think we noticed her when she was getting ready to lay an egg. Nothing better than the instant feedback when it proves you are right.

Thrive to spite them

Glad you got to get up close to the hummingbirds and it's been a treat to hear the stories.

Seems little things are making me anxious. Went out to put out trash and reycling and noticed no one else had,but htat was eariler. It got really windy so I went to pull some of the reycling back in (we have open containers) and saw that still no one had put anything out. Now I can't stop thinking i got the date wrong and my neighbors (who I rarely speak to) are going to see my trash out and think I'm dumb. Illogical but there it is.

And then there was relationship stuff. I keep reminding myself it's Tuesday so I remmeber to go to therapy tomorrow.

On the plus side I cleaned up a bit in the office. Not as much as I'd like, but an area is vacuumed, there's less clutter around and I threw out a few things I was holding on to.

Askye, I worry about stupid stuff like that all the time. I wonder what there would be room for in my brain if I didn't.
