Bonny, so keep in mind that if he keeps your deposit more than 30 days he owes it all back--per DC law he has 30 days to give you back your deposit with a list of what he's deducting if anything, otherwise he owes it all.
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Sleep well, Bonny. I hope all your woes come to a satisfying end.
Too tired to go into detail: I'm thinking warm, loving thoughts at all of you. Translate that into hugs if you like them, or into whatever gesture feels warm and loving such as sitting quietly several feet away, respecting personal space.
I just emailed my students, canceling my classes for tomorrow. I've been coughing all day, and I just won't be up to teaching by tomorrow. Not sure if this cold is developing into bronchitis or just running its course, but I'll see how I'm feeling tomorrow and decide if I need to go to the doctor.
Thanks everyone for the well wishes. Head is much better.
Laura, I'm glad for the good news!
Hil, feel better.
Bonny, I hope you find a new place soon.
Laura, I'm so glad to hear your nephew is doing better.
Hil, feel better.
I'm sucking down decaf tea and watching TV. Still feeling lousy.
Thanks for all the deeply appreciated support everyone.
I did get some decent sleep and, while still pretty worn out, I do feel a lot better.
Sent an introductory video to a woman who knows folks in the neighborhood who might be looking for long-term house sitting or a tenant who respects the property.
I like the idea of long-term house sitting for someone in the State Department, or some such, because these are people who are coming back to their homes and actually care that they stay standing.
Does anyone have nilly-fu? I have been trolling previous Natter and Bitches threads to find two dates but have been unsuccessful. Perhaps I didn't mention these two events here but I can't imagine that I did not!
The first is when my heater stopped working in...I thought...February 2005. The second is the incident when the crazy neighbor cut down the roses in the front yard. Again, I thought that was January 1st of 2014 but I can't find my posts!
I'm writing yet another letter to the landlord about following up on repairs and those dates would be helpful.
Even better still, is there a trick to nillying that I could use? I just subscribed to past threads and sucked for key words.
I remember you talking about the roses. So it is here somewhere.
Thank you Tom!
