Well, I made this avocado soup (subbing vegetable broth and half and half) and it's delicious but I put in too much salt. Guess I'd better get some more avocados to mash up and put in there. Darn.

Good morning, Bitches: I bring exciting news from the Land of the Hummingbirds! The twins have suddenly gotten big enough that I can see their whole heads, turning this way and that. They have to flutter their wings and waggle their butts to fit comfortably in their nest now.
So I was standing in the neighbor's driveway while they were not home, and was promptly noticed by two different families who turned out to be really excited to see the tiny little chicks. I think I am getting a reputation as the local science and nature lady.
