[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Babies are babies, gender isn't an issue unless the grown ups want to make it one.

Our wings are not tired.

Adorable! My 23 yo son's favorite color has always been pink. He went through a period of time when he shifted to red, but he is back to pink again. He had an easy bake oven too, because itty bitty cakes!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

An interest in itty bitty cakes is right and good for every one. As is an interest in Star Trek and the Justice League.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I think my easy bake oven was a brownish color. A quick look on amazon tells me they come in black now, which I think is good. Because for a while they were only making them in pink, and sad as it is, I know some boys wouldn't want one because of that. And really everyone should be able to make itty bitty cakes.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I had to go check, but I remembered correctly: my easy bake oven was a hideous greenish/blue. I think it was supposed to be teal? But the color didn't translate well in plastic.

Thrive to spite them

Those are totally adorable. Colors are for everyone.

I made it through appoinments with Diane and Krisen (med manager and therapist). I'm not as stoned on the cough syrup today as I was yesterday but I think I took a little less. It's very thick and it doesn't pour evenly so I'm worried about over pouring and spilling. Still not test results but I figure it's not going to make too much of a difference, if I don't hear by tomorrow afternoon I'll call.

Diane did a physical of sorts. I still have fluid in my ears so I'm back on the decongestant.

She didn't go into too much detail and kept the visit easy. She wants to start with my nutrition and work from there. Right now that means taking fish oil and probiotics but later I'll do stuff like keep a food diary and she wants to do genetic testing but I forgot to ask her why and what about.

No changes on meds unless I show a need, she didn't request blood work but I think next month she'll probably ask for that.

Thrive to spite them

I never had an easy bake oven. Sometimes I want to buy one because they are cool.

Herding cats for fun

Hear the Bay Area has been a hotbed for river otter activities. There's a group called Otter Spotters.
