Maybe I've always been here.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Herding cats for fun

There is a reason I want laudanum

Whaaaat? That's available today? Thought it was all history. Gotta check it out because it would look nice filed with the absinthe.

Put out fresh syrup in my hummingbird feeders. Hung one in new spot. Wondered if bird would like it. Bird responded by zooming over for a snack, flashing by my face and then flying around high over my head. So awesome. Close enough to feel a puff of air and hear the swish of feathers over the buzz of flight. Reckon she likes me!

One of the little ones has gotten big enough to look at me over the rim of the nest. It's all beak and beady eyes (Beady Eyes is right!) The twins sit surprisingly still. Perhaps conserving their energy for growth. Wondered if I would ever see them move, then noticed one long thin white tongue flicking about overhead in a playful fashion. Hilarious! The babies play. Bork bork bork...

Not javachik

I just got all caught up from last time I was here gosh a week ago. I had an outpatient surgery today that I thought was going to be a little thing, but was way more bloody and had more needle sticks of anesthesia than I expected. So I'm lying on the bed with an ice pack on it, being very grateful that vicodin kicked in. When I got home it really really hurt and I knew I couldn't drive anywhere, called my neighbor at her friends house to ask her to pick up some medicinal supplies at the grocery store on her way home. Things got very confused very fast - my neighbor came rushing to her home thinking one of her cats had been hit by a car. Luckily everyone lives within a mile of everyone else. Neighbor's friend housesits for them and I'm on call for help with their cats, so I'm in her phone as "Realname cats," and neighbor thought it was a text from me.

sorry voice recognition, I'll edit another time

Askye, I hope you feel better soon. Well more than that I hope you figure out what it is.it is so horrible knowing that you are unwell, and not knowing what it is. Having a name for it is so calming I always think.

SJ congratulations! I love the demitasse I think that's just great.

Hugs to Connie.

Katie I love hearing about your hummingbirds. I'm taking a field biology class at the Community College, & I learned on our field trip last weekend that our local hummingbirds have two broods a year. I thought of KTBS hummingbirds immediately. Our instructor got very excited by an unusual finding on a field trip which was an otter slip. So what this is is the freshwater otters have a beaten path from the water up to a trail or something in this case it was a fire road. And they put out kind of like a mailbox that says this is Fred the otters Trail. It's a pile of grasses and twigs and otter poop and otter musk. It was very interesting. On the other side of the fire road there was another slip going down to the pond on the other side. where else would you see 15 adults standing around a pile of wild animal poop having antimated and excited discussions about it?
