Teppy, I am very glad to hear about the continued health coverage. That's excellent. The rest of the stress is cruddy for you, so you have my heartfelt Thbbpt! in the direction of those causing your stress.
Aaargh. What's the point of tagging my bag as a VIP if you don't bother to load it on the damn plane??? I am now in the Omaha airport for two hors waiting for my bag. Which has rapidly melting food in it because the TSA doesn't trust us with freaking salad dressing. I'm exhausted and pissed and have a bunch of work I have to do tonight, but I have to cross my fingers it makes it on the next flight (still not assured!) before I can collect it and drive over an hour. I want a fucking nap and am seriously cranky until then.

one time I was upgraded due to miles on first class and my checked bag was tagged VIP. It showed up on the carousel LAST on a full flight. I wrote to Northwest (RIP) at the time and they gave me a nice bonus for my trouble. I still was cranky being at the airport that long tho.

I kid you not, this lady is HORRIBLE at making posters, programs, invites. Today's invite to a $125/person event had no less than 5 fonts, not counting the three logos. And was made of a lovely background of night view of a garden (sort of) with lots of blues and greens, and BLUE LETTERING in front of it. Yeah. Way to make it easy to read the thing.

Sorry. Clearly that had to come out. It pains me. As a sound person, I can see the graphics suck. And that is saying something.
Meara, I hope your luggage gets to you soon, and the dressing isn't spoiled. Do write and complain.
Well, now the plane it was supposedly on has landed, and all the people on that plane and I are standing around waiting...20 minutes, still no luggage. At all. Anyone's. wtf??

Yeah, I'm with ND. This was Delta (I did eventually get the bag, and my cold packs had held up remarkably well). But they all have drama, and pluses and minuses. Sigh. Just a mad cranky day--only got 5 hours sleep, and with the delay, no energy/brain to do the work I needed, before bed. Grr.
On the plus side, I got a work email that I might need to go to Portland more, which would be way better than Iowa.
The ones that fly.
Still preferable to the ones that forget that part.
