I'm apparently on a mission to warn every woman I know in meatspace that bra sizing is TOTALLY DIFFERENT so that they are warned before encountering it in the wild. One of my male coworkers (and fb friend) thanked me for openly discussing this issues. He's been very much enjoying the conversations. And photos. Probably mostly the photos.
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
No, I'm not avoiding transfusions. The reason I'm in a funk today is that I'll be spending the next two days getting another damn transfusion. I seem to be settling into an every-two-weeks transfusion schedule, which means I have maybe seven days out of every 14 during which I can accomplish anything.
Oh man. I hope things get less sucky soon.
That sucks Ginger. How long is this course of chemo?
Oh, sorry, transplants, not transfusions. I'm hoping you can avoid transplants.
Tighter through the band than either us were accustomed to...
After losing a bunch of weight, I went for a bra fitting. I'd been a 36 D when I was in high school, which is roughly the size I am now. The bra lady INSISTED that I was a 36DDD and when I asked her to bring to a 38DD, she argued with me. The band on the 36DDD was uncomfortably tight (although she may have been closing it on the tightest hook.)
Check out my friend's m-effing METAL bra! She had it made for her. Custom novelty lingerie is where it's at!
GawdDAMN!
Check out my friend's m-effing METAL bra!
Whoa.
Ginger, I'm sorry you're in the 20% who get the anemia, but if the treatment is working otherwise I have to be glad for it despite the side effects.
erin, this is an oral chemo, and I assume I'll stay on it until I achieve the Stage 4 Holy Grail of No Evidence of Disease. My oncologist is hoping that the anemia will get better as more of the cancer in the bone is knocked back.
Crossing fingers that you reach that goal, Ginger
Increased red blood cell~ma (and, of course, stage iv holy grail~ma!)
