How stressful! Lots of ~ma for your friend, sj.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
It's just craziness to me. They checked her a week ago and at the time they estimate the twins were 6 lbs each. Just take them already.
ION, they have officially closed down the town TCG's works for tomorrow! So, I don't have to worry about him driving to work and home in a blizzard.
oh, sj, much ~ma for your friend! The hospital knows there's a big storm coming, right? Just get them out. Scary. I hope she and the babies will be all right despite the hospital's douchefuckery.
The hospital said if they did the c-section now it would be considered "elective surgery" which is their way of saying her insurance won't cover it.
Insurance companies are of the devil, but I see where they're coming from. Insurance trolls don't recognize extenuating circumstances.
I made an appointment with my rheumatologist for next Monday. That was the earliest he had available. Which means I need to get through two days of standing and teaching, one day of sitting at home, one day of giving a quiz, and then two weekend days, before I can see him. I think I can manage that. (I'm pretty certain that I need a short course of prednisone. And I'm also pretty certain that, if I tell this doctor that, in a similar situation, my doctor in DC gave me prednisone, then he'll probably prescribe it -- he doesn't really know much about EDS, and usually seems relieved when I tell him what my doctor in DC did.)
I was at work for 3 hours today! During that ime I kept being told "maybe you should sit down for a few minutes" and I finally gave up and was like, "I think i'm better off at home."
My supervisor was surprised I even showed up. but I felt great when I woke up this morning.
Hopefully I'm going to get trhough the full day tomorrow.
Someone at work was freaking out over the storm but right now we're not going to get hit. At least not according to the weather channel. They are talking about 5" or so for us.
5"? Sounds like a whopper. Good luck to all those who must travel through it; and may the mamma be known for saying, why, during that big storm when you two were born...
Droughty California wishes we could transport those clouds right over the Sierra Nevada let them dump all they have. Then the ski resorts wouldn't be closing already... fun fun fun.
Laura, I completely understand why you cannot have a bum in the house. It's bad enough when it's 23; it is SO much worse when the man child is pushing 60 and has poor hygiene. You can't let that happen.
Well 3-5" of snow. Not as much as the other areas and there's not a storm advisory for travel or anything. Amd the hourly forecast looks like "light snow" and "snow showers". Which isn't so bad. I
If you look at New York it's all "Blizzard" and "heavy snow/wind" so compared to that Vermont is going to get a mild snow fall.
Hopefully it won't be the wet heavy snow that's fallen most of the winter.
