Illyria: We cling to what is gone. Is there anything in this life but grief? Wesley: There's love. There's hope...for some. There's hope that you'll find something worthy...that your life will lead you to some joy...that after everything...you can still be surprised. Illyria: Is that enough? Is that enough to live on?

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I still feel poopy, but am heading up to work in a bit to get some work in my classroom done whilst I have no kiddos. Em is headed to an indoor water park with her "sister from another mister", Emily. They call each other "Twin". You actually can't really tell them apart from the back. Same length hair, same color, same build. Same hyperactive personality. Since Em switched schools, they haven't seen each other much so off they go.

Meanwhile, I will be covering boxes in rainbow covered fabric for my math manipulatives and hanging team signs and paper lanterns.

Callaluna and Trudy, jello pit. It's a plan.

Compassionately intolerant

Usually stunt casting leaves me cold but, and this will sound a bit funny, he can really sing...

That's so good to hear. What a difference a decade or two can make.

I have infinite respect for Sting's talent, but when I saw him in The Three Penny Opera in 1989, I was actually, physically embarrassed for him.

Just supports my personal theory that men get better with age.

He is SO much more interesting/attractive to me at 63 than he ever was as a popstar.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I don't know why it's been acting up recently. My doctor said that I've got bursitis in both hips, and that explains why the pain, but I don't know what explains the bursitis. I haven't been doing much out of the ordinary lately.

Mine just ... is. I think congenital. All the stretching and PT in the world isn't going to stop the sometimes really bad day and need for occasional cortisone shots. But it and the tendinitis went and got my sacroiliac joint involved this time (after I ignored it for a decade with no health insurance) so now I'm waiting for MRI results.

Heat helps me with the pain.

I'm sorry you're going through this Hil.

Gosh, Sting. Gosh.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

It's the power of Bitches.

Gosh, Sting. Gosh.

Yeah, that's what I keep thinking.

I can't even.

Oh, that Sting. Way cool. (Yes, my first gronky reaction was the sword.) But I am also a big fan of the alive blond version.

There's a whole discussion of the pop culture we get to like after our pop culture is no longer *the* pop culture, but my brain is a bit filled with work and I can't get it out just now.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

You guys, the movers come on Thursday. We have so much to do between now and then and two wild boys who are feeling the stress and OMG. Trying to be zen about it as we are having the movers pack us up and I'm sure they've seen WAY worse than our little abode. Right? RIGHT????

This time next week, we will officially be living in North Carolina. Holy. Shit.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm sure they've seen WAY worse than our little abode. Right? RIGHT????

Indeed.

This time next week, we will officially be living in North Carolina. Holy. Shit.

And North Carolina CANNOT WAIT TO SEE YOU!!
