Gold star for Tom Scola!
I need to figure out recycling here. I will put it on the list.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Its called cookie butter in America simply because nobody knows what the hell speculoos is!
It's actually just called cookie butter at Trader Joe's. The kind they sell in regular grocery stores is called Biscoff Spread.
So, it's like cookie dough?
It's more like they take the cookies and put them in a blender, with enough oil so that the crumbs come together in a peanut-butter-like consistency.
(People have been obsessing over this stuff for years on a vegan board where I post. When it used to just be available in a few countries in Europe, it would become a whole big thing if you could find a friend who was visiting there and was willing to bring you some back, or if you could set up an exchange (for some kind of American vegan thing that's not available in Europe) with one of the people on the board who lived somewhere where Speculoos was available. There was much celebration a few years ago when it was suddenly in regular American grocery stores.)
Sounds kind of like Nutella back in the day. Although I still prefer european Nutella, it's not as sweet.
There's a brand called Justin's that makes a chocolate hazelnut spread with only a couple teaspoons of sugar per serving and it is delicious! We eat it all the time in my house.

And vegan! (Nutella isn't.)
Mmm, nutella.
I have some TJ's spread that is speculoos swirled with faux-nutella. Haven't really figured out what it's best used on/for, but I like the idea...
Nutella is so good with tart, crisp apples. Yum! I don't think I've ever come across anything that was too sweet for me and beginning to believe such a thing doesn't exist. I guess we'll find out in February if my tastebuds have changed since I'm cutting sugar out my diet this month.
I volunteer to help organize anything and everything on Buffista Island! Cleaning and organizing are things I actually enjoy, especially if I'm angry or stressed. If I were brave enough, I'd start my own business helping people to lead cleaner or just less cluttered lives but I'm not willing to bet my paycheck on it.
My sister finally let me come out and help her get her house under control back in October and it was a LOT of work but we got so much done in about 6 days. Probably heading back to Corinth for part of spring break for round 2.
Oooh, yes, Nicole! Start your own decluttering business. If they can make TV shows about it, then I'm sure it's something you could make money off of. I'll even provide a testimonial.

So, is that the trick to getting you to visit, I just have to agree to let you organize my house? Because, if so, consider it done.
I would be happy to let you organize my house if it would help reduce your stress levels, Nicole. Anything I can do to help, you know.
