Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.
Folding laundry is soothing. Washing dishes is contemplative, when done by hand with warm soapy water, though loading and unloading and running the dishwasher approaches vacuuming levels in distaste. But putting dishes away is fun, like a puzzle. Putting clean clothes away is satisfying. Dusting can be fun, as long as I don't get sucked into an hour of rearranging tchotches. Sorting laundry--eh. Don't hate it. Doing laundry...vague dislike, but folding clothes warm from the dryer or heady-scented from the line is wonderful.
Anything I can scrub--bathroom surfaces, refrigerator gasket, cabinet and appliance fronts, range hood--be *finished* and rewarded with shiny, is fun and rewarding. There's something awesome in attacking and *finishing* a task and leaving things better than you found them that's profoundly satisfying.

Washing dishes is gross. Scrubbing the toilet is satisfying. Vacuuming is faster than a mop, but I still want a Roomba. Mopping is the devil's work, thank you Swiffer Wet Jet, I will destroy the planet for you.
Really, the most satisfying task I know of is polishing my jewelry, but sadly, no one else considers it vital household maintenance.

I can do dishes and I'm a master straightener (putting things in their places, etc.). I also don't mind vacuuming. I will NOT mop, sweep, clean bathrooms.
