Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Was it when you moved from NC? I remember meeting you, CaBil and his wife (whose name completely escapes me at the moment), your brother, and several others at a diner in the DC area. I remember you in a Spikeloost t-shirt. (And I had to shush Hubs, because he wanted to talk about the latest Buffy ep and you hadn't seen it. And it was "Smashed.")

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Yesssssss, Fred! I totally remember now! And my cat was in the UHaul, and when I let her out to use the litterbox she scurried under the seat to hide and when I tried to get her out she shredded my arms. So I met several of you for the first time while bleeding profusely.

Interestingly, my brother lives in that area now. He's stationed in Maryland, his wife is from Baltimore.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

There's a pretty wooden double wine bottle carrier that holds a couple of toy clamshells perfectly. All...not hidden, and everything.

a friend got a Lost game from somewhere

Speaking of which, let me post that pic I found. It's up in Buffistas.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Skype interview went OK, I think. Not great.

I am rolling my eyes so hard at the facebook group for the town where I grew up. Someone posted, asking, "Where can I buy a good pair of stockings?" Some people commented with specific stores (which are generally the stores where you would buy stockings -- the department stores in the mall and stuff.) Someone else commented, "Any grocery store in America?" Original poster: "if you read my post I said "a good pair" not a cheap pair from the supermarket that people probably use for arts and crafts." This is a thing now? Stocking snobbery? And someone who is this much of a snob about stockings needs to ask an internet group in order to find out that you can buy them at Lord & Taylor?

brillig

How else will people know they're in the market for good stockings?

I think there's a lot of entertainment available in watching small town America on Facebook. All the town squabbles out where hte world can see.

I never understood buying expensive stockings. I've worn them before, but they get runs just as fast as the cheap ones when you're as remarkably ungraceful as I am.

Edit: Oh, and congrats on the good interview!
