It's simple. I slap 'em around a bit, torture 'em, make their lives hell...Sure, the nice guys'll run away, but every now and then you'll find a prince like Spike who gets off on it.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

askye, I used to wear those very stretchy knit gloves...the ones that look small but stretch to fit...when I was a receptionist at a company and the wind from the front door was cold and constant. I could keep typing in them.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

My husband has the same problem, askye. I cut the tips off a pair of those stretchy knit gloves quester is talking about and carefully seared the loose edges of the fingers with a lighter to seal the threads.

Need a new corset for an event called "Carnival Bedlam -- An Evening of Steampunk Horror" Corsetstory doesn't have what I want (lots of steampunk, but I want grey or silver). Any suggestions for a good site?

I keep looking for those around here but I only find thicker ones. I may check online and see if anyone has them. You'd think they'd be easy to find but it looks like full gloves that you can use with cell phones or tablets are more popular grab and go items.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I tried to sleep. Too cold, and when I did fall asleep for a little while, I had the dream where it's the end of the semester and I realize I haven't been to class at all. WTF, brain?

Try Timeless Trends: [link] t edit I've bought corsets from them, and while they're off the rack, they're pretty decent, though they're best suited for an hourglass shape.

Thrive to spite them

So I need a little medical~ma for 10:30 today. I'm going into see my GP and see if she'll prescribe my medication while I look for a new psychiatrist so I don't have to see my current one. I actually cancelled on the current one (forgot I had an appointment today) and incurred a fee just to be seen. BUT Good news the practice has an Nurse practioner who is now takig my insurance so I'm seeing HER in 2 weeks. Not sure if I'll like her any better and so maybe some Like the New Psych Med prescribe~ma is in order as well.

But my insomnia is really bad, as in I was up until 3 am this morning and I was having anxiety all night about seeing Dr. C and trying to justify asking for sleep medications and confront him over the fact he screwed up my prescriptin last month. I had refills so I wasn't going to deal with it until I saw him becuase I don't feel comfortable dealing with him over the phone.

It's like a belated Epiphany miracle!

And as a bonus my GP is next to my soon to be ex dentist office, so I can go over there and request a records release to my new dentist who I'm seeing next Thursday and cancel whatever appointment I have. I'm concerned because I'm having mouth pain on my right side - kind of similiar to what I started having months ago with the tooth I lost. When I called the new dentist and asked for a full mouth x ray they were like "Well you're a new patient! of course we'll do that."

The soon to be ex dentist did not do that. They only do full mouth if there's a "Compelling reason". You'd think going 4 years without a cleaning would be a compelling reason.

....I'm also really really sleep deprived and kinda hyper over this. It's probably a good thing I can't have caffiene

Good morning. I haven't been in here in just about forever, but I woke up early this morning and thought I would do the natter diet, albeit the bitch's diet, and go back a couple hundred posts and catch up to the end. It's really fun seeing everybody. I'm glad Harvey is feeling better. Ginger I hope you are feeling better, and no longer walking like Festus.

Askye, I have intersistial cystitis also. I used to have a lot of pain and problems with it, but really have gotten a handle on it thanks to a doctor who specializes in uro-gynecology. She was new to my docs practice last year, just graduated from a fellowship in that specialty.

There are three things that made a huge difference for me. First, getting an actual diagnosis of IC. Second, going online and reading all the materials that the IC network has to offer about food and diet. Changing what I was eating and drinking was an enormous help. No caffeine, no chocolate, no citrus, no carbonation, no soy, no vitamin C (or overages of Vit C), no cranberry -- all these things were a really big help. Third, there are treatments to heal the inside of the bladder itself. A catheter is inserted into the bladder and the bladder is filled with medicine. For reasons nobody understands in the medical community, but it works, heperin, or DMSO heals up the lesion-like things inside the bladder. I had a series of installations with heparin at the beginning, and now I only very very rarely ever need one if I can't deal with it by taking AZO* a couple of times, and drinking more blueberry juice. I guess there are more than three things. 100% blueberry juice = a godsend. Or just blueberries, or frozen blueberries blended in almond milk (mmm). Pears, blueberries, and almond milk are the most soothing things to the bladder. That helpful info is from the IC diet list. The other thing that was really helpful, and really weird, was having the MD refer me to a pelvic floor physical therapist. One would think you do that to get toned up, but who knew it is possible to be hyper toned? Knowing that now is very helpful. I have breathing exercises to "reroute" and "remap" that area.

Dealing with IC is a real pain but if you can get a handle on what works for you, it gets better. Encourage you to try to find a doctor who knows about installations.

  • The new doc said she has had two cases of full-blown renal failure from women taking AZO super-regularly, instead of only 3/day, up to 2 days as recommended, so beware if you take it. I've been lucky in that if I kick over to a flair because, say, I had two hard pear ciders instead of one, one or two individual doses of AZO is usually all I need to get over it.
