Willow: Something evil-crashed to earth in this. Then it broke out and slithered away to do badness. Giles: Well, in all fairness, we don't really know about the "slithered" part. Anya: No, no, I'm sure it frisked about like a fluffy lamb.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Harvey is basking in the warmth of your cheer and of the Exploding TARDIS blanket under which he naps.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

FWIW, hasenpfeffer is rabbit - means pepper hare

I'm now imaging the Duck season/Rabbit season bit carried on inside an oven.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

sj, I'm sorry you are having a rough day. How shall we smite the ducks who dare nibble at you? Fricassee? Flambee? Hasenpfeffer (spelling? Also, is that only for wabbit season?)

Pan seared duck, please. Yum. At least AAA showed up quickly and the library was still open. I'm home now and not going to try to do anything to complicated for the rest of the day.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Nap is good. Does he groom? That's a good sign that a sick cat is on the mend.

Fred, yes Harvey started grooming himself again the day before his first escape from his little house. Yesterday I noticed him scratching at the tall scratching post that Daniel built. So good to see. Funny, when I went to the pet store to pick up supplies to care for him, I was determined to be optimistic. so I got the biggest container of pet wipes because he was going to live a long time and would need me to bath him the whole time. It didn't occur to me to be optimistic enough to think he would get so much better that he would not need me to clean him. He's better now than I dared hope. Talk about getting a Christmas wish.
