Yes, there is. There's a hurry, Xander. I'm dying...I may have as few as fifty years left.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I mean, it's a safety issue.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Right?

I was mostly worried about his widdle ears. They just looked so red. I had cashmere gloves on! I could help!

Sure, Bell and Craigson are bundled. Watson is exquisite as always and entombed in equally exquisite cashmere...

At one point he SPOILER ALERT puts on rubber gloves and I'm all "oh good..."

Maria, darling, you need some salt air and some rowdy music and some good wine and some late nights talking with good people. The curative properties cannot be overstated.

Bell and Craigson are bundled.

Okay, you just relieved my fear that Bell dies in the next episode. Whew!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

We hates the Body Image Demons, we does. And the nasty orcses that trample good friendships and makes them dry and dusty. Yesss, we hates them, precious.

And yes, Trudy, consider yourself deputized on behalf of all Elementary fans to preserve Mr. Miller's health and wellbeing by keeping him warm and cozy.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I did provide her with a freshly brewed cappuccino, knowing that the waiting room coffee was likely to be bad, but it seems insufficient.

Please! It was fun, and I got to spend time with you. I miss you! (which is ironic)

He's 6 1/2 and I'm not sure what he has in terms of books he can read on his own. Any suggestions on that?

My niece loved the Magic Treehouse books at that age (http://www.amazon.com/Dinosaurs-Before-Dark-Magic-House/dp/0679824111/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1418582841&sr=8-9&keywords=magic+tree+house) The first book is only $5, although you can get a set of the first four for $12.

I don't even have the stones to motivate myself right now. I was so public about my journey, and I've fucked it up. I want to hide in the house and never leave.

Did the exact same thing. Have slacked and gained weight. But, you helped me get on the horse, and you continue to inspire me, so lets get back on the bandwagon together. We bought all of these damned clothes, we need to get in them again!

Yay Vortex and Maria--you can do it! I've been on a diet almost two weeks now, and I feel like every day there is something I have to use ALL my willpower to resist. And I haven't even been like, going to cookie exchanges or anything! More like I went to karaoke last night and was fine having diet coke...but then some friends decided they should go get a pizza and cheesy bread and share with everyone! I'm proud I didn't partake, but I hate that every dang day is such a fight....and it'll still be weeks before I'm at a weight that's not higher than ever. Ugh.

brillig

I have a crap diet and don't exercise, and I'm very lucky that my weight hasn't changed in years. There's way too much to me, but at lesat it's stable. Now if I can introduce something more healthy and stick with it, I should be able to make an impact.

Our wings are not tired.

but I hate that every dang day is such a fight....

Indeed. I've gained 40 pounds in the last year. (on top of the 50 I gained in the past few decades) I've now managed to drop 9 of them. My mantra has been that there is damned little in this life I have control over, but what I eat and how much I exercise is totally my choice. It seems overwhelming to have 80 pounds still to go, but I am feeling more hopeful about it than I have in years.

Going to the gym the last couple days after cramming my bulk into too tight workout clothes and/or bathing suits has been humiliating, but damned if I am going to buy bigger gym clothes.

Short version, gaining weight is a whole lot more fun than losing it.
