You do well to flee, townspeople! I will pillage your lands and dwellings! I will burn your crops and make merry sport with your more attractive daughters! Ha ha ha! Mark my words! Ooh! Ale! I smell delicious ale!

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm watching Peter Pan. It's terrible, but snarking is fun.

Our wings are not tired.

If I can get someone to buy me a gift card and pay them back I could use that.

Typo, I am a Costco member and would be happy to do so. Profile addy good. Their prescription prices really are impressive.

My eyes see best with the mono vision contacts. Near and far, it is all good. Alas, my eyes seem weepy lately and I haven't been wearing them. I am switching between 2 pair of glasses, but the distance to my office monitors is going to force me to buy a 3rd pair because it is just too far away for my near glasses. Boo. I can hardly wait to have 3 pair on chains around my neck. Hope to get back in contacts again, or maybe find the courage for surgery. That seems unlikely.

Thrive to spite them

I didn't sleep. Woke up early and checked out the snow. Not much of it but it's mostly ice the huge tall as trees hedges were bent over nearmy in half. One on my car. I got the space behind my car shoveled and the snow knocked off the hedge on to my car.

Will might be coming over but I don't know also nit sure I can get his spot shoveled out.

I need to find someone who can come over in the mornings and shovel me out. Not sure how to do find someone. I should have down some shoveling while it was snowing last night.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Sorry to hear about the insomnia, sleepless people.

Askye, try calling around to people who do snow plowing - in local newspapers or on bulletin boards in grocery and hardware stores. Either they might offer the service of limited shoveling or know someone who does.

I'll check or maybe front porch forum which I subscribe to and then forget to read. Although my town doesn't rate it's own For, it's to small.

Discovered I have new neighbors. They only moved in a month ago but I've been distracted. Gone are the slightly creepy family that would shoot airguns. In us a nice lady with some kids. I helped her shovel and her daughter helped me. She was was a little surprised that she had to shovel her drive. I guess they didn't make it clear park management plows the street but that's it.

And Will is coming over and taking me to therapy and the lunch. Or maybe the other way around. And there was much rejoicing because I haven't seen him enough lately.

We're doing a white elephant gift exchange at one of my work locations. I think I shall make a selection of duct tape crafts to give.

Andi - we have a white elephant exchange tomorrow. I am putting a Hershey bar in a frame with "In Case of Emergency Break Glass". Just need to print out the words and get everything centered in the frame and I'm done.

Finished the scantrons.

I've never worked anywhere that had any kind of gift exchange like that. We do have a "staff appreciation week" when all the faculty and instructors are supposed to get little gifts for the administrative staff, but I always forget. (Plus, while I do appreciate the staff, I don't particularly appreciate getting an email in the middle of midterms informing me that I'm supposed to give a gift on some particular day to someone I barely know. Picking out presents for people I do know is stressful enough!)
