Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Poor Shadow. I hope he'll be all right. Maybe the vet can give him something to ease the ache in his hips. That might help his mood a bit, too.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

yikes! it's snowing here! and coming down fairly heavily.

I am so, so glad I don't travel on Thanksgiving ... getting in to work (in the pouring rain) was enough of a challenge.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Snowing but not sticking in SW DC.

Our wings are not tired.

I may be personally responsible for snowy weather in the NE. I've been wanting people to sit around the Thanksgiving table and decide they need to move to Florida and buy my house. Sorry.

I'm sorry about Shadow, Connie. I hope it's just a temporary bug of some sort.

Awww, I hope that the vet has quick relief for Shadow. I understand hanging by the heat vent.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, Teppy! I hope your sister in law loves the job.

We had to rush out of the house yesterday instead of leaving today as previously planned to avoid the snowocalypse.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Denver! (which I associate with beer)

Done with my work for the long weekend. I need a break! A real, serious break. No hustling, pitching, or writing.

Thrive to spite them

Kitty~ma to Shadow.

It's been snowing here. Originally Will and I planned to do a Thanksgiving thing with grilled sandwiches and just board games or movies. But when he came over there were other types of fun times and then he had a craving for meatball sandwiches so we went in search for that. And watched Rush with Chris Helmsworth when we got back.

He's gone back home, there was stuff he needed to do, especially with the snow coming down and evn though he took part of the day off he had a ton of phone calls to follow up on.

So I went and played around with this painting technique I saw on tv that did not work the way it did on the show. I have to see if I can find out online how it actually work (the guy took really soupy paint and then sprayed canned air over it move it. All I did was temporarily freese the paint. I don't know if he was using oil based paint or not).

I'm also trying to find the ski gloves I bought and trying to decide if I should go and get hand warmers in case I'll be handing out tickets in the cold and snow tomorrow.

Didn't sleep well, I had a nightmare someone came into the store on Friday to buy their first computer, hadn't done any research, knew nothing and didn't understand how you got internet to the house. That is what I'm dreading, someone just wandering in tomorrow or Friday and expecting it be business as usually and not understanding that they can't dawdle and take their time.
