I'm mostly on Facebook to keep up with the family, and aside from the Bay area second cousins they're all more religious and conservative than me. So I edit accordingly. I've shared a few Fucking Love Science posts, but I save my more political/religious rants for tumblr. .

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Kind of surprised there isn't one of you holding a ruler and looking stern.
There is one with a yardstick, but it's a weird pose, where I'm holding the yardstick on the ground, like a walking stick, and my other hand is on a lunchbox, and it's just...weird. Not stern. No big, because I like the others.
I really like the studying on the floor photo, Steph! A nice mix of classy and dangerous.

Yeah, I have all my posts set to Friends Only as the default. I meant when I'm having a convo in the comments on someone else's post.
According to Wikipedia, the mirror page to IFLS is Science Is Awesome. Both run by Elise Andrews.
Teppy, the pictures came out great! Did you have the clothes or was that part of the package?
Friends of the person you're talking to can wander in and start commenting. It's happened to me more than once that a person I don't know has butted into a convo between me and a friend and started raising my blood pressure.
Zen, check your privacy settings. You can set it that only your friends see your posts, but if you tag someone in the body then the post is visible to their friends as well as yours. If I don't want to do that, I usually tag someone in a comment instead. That way they get to see the content without opening myself up to discussions with strangers.
I think I have facebook set up so that non-friends can't comment at all or send me messages.

Yes, so do I.

The blue dress is mine, from eShakti. It has pockets! And in the black outfit, the pencil skirt is mine, and I wore a black top they had. The shoes are mine, too. They have a pretty big wardrobe that women can use, in sizes from 0 to generously plus-sized.
You look fabulous, Teppy. The pics are fantastic.
I've got FB locked down to friends only, and I filter even further when necessary. There's four or five lists I use on a regular basis.
I need to figure out filters on FB, because then I might actually remember to go read the stuff from people I care about.
Steph, I found and liked a Fb page called "Science Is Awesome" that carries some cool stuff. I think it is the one you were looking for, so I sent you an invite to like it as well.
