[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Any idea how one gets a kitty who has gone into crawl space inaccessible to humans out? Kitty might also not be able to get out? Ever heard of this happening? It's for a friend.

Your friend may need to call some sort of emergency services if the kitty doesn't come out by morning.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

They've called pet emergency services. They may have to pull out a wall.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Is it me or are cats being extra crazy recently?

Compassionately intolerant

If a can of tuna doesn't persuade kitty to come out I have no idea. Make sure there is plenty of light so that kitty can see the direction of freedom.

This is what I would say, though, I agree that the wall might have to come down.

Hopefully, the service they called has a sonar device.

Dog park friends had a Jack who cost them roughly 8k a year digging her out from under 20feet of ground when she got stuck chasing a varmint. The service had a sonar to find the pooch and then a specially equipped back hoe to do the digging.

Fortunately, they could laugh about it.

Critters can be spendy, yo.

See I would figure if the cat got in there it could almost certainly get out.

brillig

Unless its collar is caught on something or it's gotten into a corner it can't turn around in--now I'm all worried about a kitty I've never met.

As my father always says, they've never yet found a cat skeleton in a tree. Though I suppose inside of something could be trickier.

Well, part of the problem is that they think the cat is in a crawlspace, but they don't know exactly where he is, and can't figure out how he got there. They only know he's behind the wall because he was meowing, but now he's stopped.

Catsby has been rescued! They had to cut three holes in a wall. He was perched on a ledge beside the chimney. No idea how he got in there. He's scared but safe. Stupid adventurous curious cats. Thanks for the good thoughts!

I am seriously relieved to hear that!
