My mother had a bout of skin cancer back in the 90s. Once it was excised she was fine.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Glad do hear it, askye!

Thrive to spite them

Dad does a lot to keep his ears and skin covered when he goes out fishing but he's outside a lot and has fairer skin. I mean it sucks he has to have a part of his ear removed but I'm glad it's simple and not serious.

He's planning on leaving for Maine next week so they aren't telling him not to leave town.

I'm glad your dad's prognosis is good, askye.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Good lord, OK Cupid. Verbatim message received:

I heard this rumor, that one VERY attractive lady was looking for tall dark and handsome adventurous Man to come and compliment her already wonderful life, is this true?

I'd reply: "Yes, I heard that, too. You should go look for her."

Thrive to spite them

I feel like I can't win. I think the Risperidone has increased my anxiety. Now that I know my feet were actually swelling and nothing bad happened, I'm anxious about my potassium getting too low. I know that I've eaten potassim rich foods all day, I've been drinking water.

But I slept on my neck wrong and my shoulder hurts and my anxiety is telling me it's a side effect of low potassium and something bad is going to happen.

I'm not googling anything.

I really wanted to get off Seroquel because I thought , well the grass is greener on the other side - greener and thinner! So far it's just bad side effects and anxiety.

The other thing I hate about being like this is I'm not only anxious and obsessing about whatever I'm also anxious and obsessing over the fact I'm anxious and obsessing.

Smonster, he should go ahead and compliment you, but I doubt he will complement you. ;)

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

askye, you are getting enough potassium. It's good.

I understand anxiety, and it's hard. Sometimes I give myself a timer and I list all the things I'm worried about, usually aloud, because yo, I talk to TOASTERS, talking to myself is no big, and I go all the way to some truly ridic scenarios.

At this point, I either laugh and get up, or I'm upset and the timer goes off. At that point, I have to get up and say "Fuck it" and I think of that Buffy moment where Angelus is all "No weapons, no friends -- what do you have left" "Me."

I never said I wasn't cheesy.

But I usually get anxious about money, sleep or relationship issues, not medical. It may work for you, and you might have to find your personal "Fuck you, anxiety; Imma LIVE!" moment to replay.

And it doesn't work EVERY time. But it works often.

Always Anti-fascist!

I'd already have to be into someone to let them get by with that, smonster. Everyone on there used to find it terribly flattering to tell me how much the chair "didn't scare" them. Like my baseline should be that they can see me and not run screaming. I've not been in many relationships, but I still think it takes more than that.
