I'm a LEEETLE freaked out because J is leaving today to go to Azerbaijan. Not because he gets to go watch Formula One in a cool country, because that's AWESOME, but because it's a 12-hour flight and he has a blood disorder which leads to clots. He's already gotten one DVT from flying.
They have him in economy in a window seat. He explained his issue to them, and they told him to speak to the airlines. It's Turkish Air, and he has not been able to contact them by phone or internet. He's promised me if they won't change his seat when he gets to the airport, he will refuse to fly and come right home. I just hope he will actually do so.
I was USSD but now I'm part of Z-Ultimate (there was a split and lawsuit and ugliness, but I followed my sensei cause I adore her {and her kids}). I should look to see if there are studios nearby. Good idea.
Aaaand San Mateo is the closest, but probably out of range for getting a work out in.
Bummer. Walking it is, then.
Good choices-ma for J, Scrappy.
Oh, forgot to say before, yay for kitty-returnage as well, Strix.
Oh dear, Scrappy. I hope they are able to change his seat. It would be a bummer to miss the event, but that is a hella long flight to not be able to easily move around.
I've started the deed in lieu of foreclosure process for the house in Frederick. I feel sick.
That is a little nerve-wracking Scrappy.
Ugh Scrappy, hope they can accommodate him. It seems like a very reasonable request.
And double ugh, Maria. This too shall pass, but ugh!
Scrappy, it's a known risk of flying, surely they will understand and switch his seat with someone else's. And if not, may he keep his word and come home!
Maria, so sorry you have to deal with all that.
ugh, Maria. I sympathize a lot.
