Well, my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.

Thrive to spite them

I can't sleep. I'm in pain, not so much from the tooth but from my jaw/cheek. I think my cheek is swollen but I can't really tell. My face feels hotter on that side, but I'm not running a fever.

And if I look on google all this points to - get to the doctor right now! But I can't. I'm not even sure things are that bad, the dentist said there wasn't infection but now I'm being to doubt the doctor and I'm a little freaked out about falling asleep. Not that I think I can sleep.

The best I can do, I think, is call the dentist in the morning and let them know what is going on.

Thrive to spite them

I hope you find your kitty Erin I now how stressful it is to have a lost pet.

So the dentist had a cancellation and I went in. There's no abcess (which Ic ould tell) the swelling is not as bad as it was last night - but the dentist thinks there's infection. He's not sure, but he prescribed antibiotics and said by tomorrow the pains hould be better. He stressed I'll probaby be in pain tonight, I can deal with that. I asked about pain meds, meaning over the counter stuff and which one was better and he offered to write a scrip for something stronger but I declined. It would probably relieve the pain better but I'd rather stay away from prescription pain meds unless they are a necessity.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Strix, tons of kitty~ma. I hope you find her soon.

askye, I'm glad the dentist was able to fit you in today. Feel better.

I've been battling both a uti and a chest cold for a couple weeks now and have been mostly spoonless, but good thoughts and ~ma to all who need them who I may have missed.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Much kitty~ma, Strix. Our semi-feral, Cat Ballou ("Bally"), would tell her that the outdoors are vastly overrated. She won't even go near any door to the outside.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Kitt~ma, Strix.

Same with my kitty, Squeaky Fromage.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Our semi-feral, Cat Ballou ("Bally"), would tell her that the outdoors are vastly overrated.

My former stray cat Murray is the same. He'll stare at the outside, but he makes no attempts to go there, even when the open door is right in front of him.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh Fred, our feral-caught tripod kitty, TC, was the same way. The vet who saw him first said, "He'll never be a lap cat. He'll hang out by the door and be gone the first chance he gets."

Um, no. StY used to "speak for the cat," pull his hand up inside the sleeve so his cuff flapped empty, and he'd wave it and say, "Outside?! Let me tell you about outside!" Of course I was a terrible person and used to scoop him up and carry him outside in my arms, but only on extremely bright days, where he couldn't see much for blinking, or on rainy days, "What is this wet stuff falling on me?!", or on snowy days, "You have GOT to be kidding me!" He'd fasten his gaze on the door and practically *will* me to take him back safe indoors.

You hear that, Cosmo? Come home, sweet girl! Your hoomins miss you! Plus, there may be *ham*! Or tuna water, or some other good thing if you come home. IJS.

askye, I'm glad you got some better info and some relief. Knowing what's what is probably better than pain-ease at this point. I hope things go better from here.

sj, I'm sorry you're not well. Sending you vibes to kick the cold to the curb, and both get and feel better, soon.

Kitty~ma, Strix!

I had a face to face interview today. I think it went well? It's hard to tell. I'm pretty sure I'd like the job if it were offered.
