There's something about a food that moves all by itself that gives me the heebie-jeebies.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I survived the procedure that killed Joan Rivers and the drug that killed Michael Jackson! I need to sell my story to the tabloids.

The universe likes you more than them.

You know, I realize that my pain levels aren't that bad since I got my Tramadol supply cut off - usually running about 5 on the 1-10 scale - but it sure is a hassle. Cut my effectiveness noticeably. (The pharmacy won't give me more until I've seen a doctor who will prescribe more ... and the first appointment I could get was October 31. Trick? for a treat?) It's my back ... last week I had to ask someone (young and strong) to pick up a box with two reams of paper from the floor because I tried and sort of ... stuck.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

On occasions when I've worn hose, I usually wear nude hose. I wore white hose once and one of my friends remarked halfway through the day that my legs are so pale she'd only just realized I had on hose.

I survived the procedure that killed Joan Rivers and the drug that killed Michael Jackson! I need to sell my story to the tabloids.

Change "I" to "Badass woman" and you've got the headline.

Today has started off fubared and looks to stay that way.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

What can they do for it?

Most ulcers are caused by H. pylori bacteria and are treated with a combination of acid blockers like Prilosec and antibiotics. They're having me take a lot of Prilosec and testing to be sure it is H. pylori.

I guess the next question is whether they think the ulcer is related to the oral chemo I was taking. They had me stop taking that last week when the ulcer symptoms started. I hope I can go back to it, because it seemed to be effective and not too dreadful on the side effects scale. I see my oncologist Wednesday.

Chemo is such an endless balancing act.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Glad that you have Dx, Ginger, and that it's treatable. And you are such a hero in my book.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Ginger, I'm sorry you have an ulcer, but I'm glad it's something as eminently treatable as that.

OK, to try to revive the thread: another use for a camel.

Compassionately intolerant

another use for a camel.

Practical and yet still creepy.

So, after the tragic events with the pet care company, my arch nemesis (not really, but no other descriptor applies) quit...Yay...then unquit...boo.

Now I am writing a reorganization plan which will change his job dramatically...but hopefully in a way that will work for everyone.

Spare me from the drama llamas!
