One of the tabloid shows just did a piece on "Should you be afraid of endoscopy after Joan Rivers' death?"
That's absurd. We really have to stop this race to become the most willfully stupid nation.
I hope you get the answer you are hoping for, Ginger. I know how miserable that kind of anemia can be.

But...I'm too busy being afraid of Ebola! I can only take on one irrational media-fueled medical fear at a time.
(Note: I am actually less afraid of Ebola then I am of an actual zombie uprising. Because science. Also, I avoid all bodily fluids, even if they're Ebola-free. It just works out better that way.)
Ebola is one of those thoughts I just can't afford to have, because I really have made huge strides on the germ-phobia front, and I just can't go back there again. So I worry for a bit and then am like "You. Must Chill."
If there's one thing I guess we can learn from the Rivers thing it's maybe "Everything's a big deal when you're eighty."
or "Routine doesn't mean absolutely safe." which we should know from car accidents anyway, imo.
Pix, I'm so sorry for your loss.
Can't sleep. I'm exhausted and sick and have to get up early tomorrow to drive to the funeral. Must sleep.
Thanks so much, sj. Did you see the story I added after I posted? It’s so indicative of the type of lady she was. I haven’t been in contact with her in a long time since she lived in Connecticut and has been in very poor health for a number of years, but the world is a little less without her.
Your Aunt Lyn sounds awesome.
Great story. She sounds like an interesting woman.
I'm sorry, Pix. She sounds like a great woman.
Pix, I'm sorry for your aunt's loss. She sounds like a pistol.
