You'll find, though, that various HVAC companies will have preferences (and access) to particular models or makes. The labor and guarantee/ongoing service are likely to have much greater impact than choosing a particular model.
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Your library may have Consumer Reports access. It might be worth calling them to ask.
In me me me news, after weeks of no interest, I had two different requests for an interview at exactly the same time this Friday afternoon. I chose the interview for the full-time job in western Michigan instead of the four-week contract position in Raleigh. Thus proving I'd rather move hundreds of miles than deal with I-40 rush hour traffic.
ETA: And now I have another interview for an IL job. Things seem to be picking up, thank goodness.
Sign that its been too long since I've read a book. Looking at the top of the page, to see what time it is, as if it was an iPad or something.
Silly single-use items.
Yay, Calli! Sending lots of job~ma.
Our crawlspace creeps me out something fierce. Haven't been down there since dad sent me when I was a kid.
I don't understand my comcast bill. I just got one, which I need to find (unless I already got rid of it) saying I owed nothing!
Now I have a bill that says both that I haven't made any payments, have a past due amount AND have a current balance of -60.64.
It seems that I have a credit on my account. The automated system says my last payment was in July but the statemtn showes a payment in August. I actually made 2 payments and I can see both of the payments so I should have credit for both of them.
Now I have to wait until Friday when I can call them during regular business hours. I'm not looking forward to that.
Tying this into crawl space talk, when I was having connection issues Comcast suggested there might be a splitter somewhere, if there is it's under the crawl space area for the mobile home and there is no way I'm going under there. THe new modem and router fixed it, but I was all Nope Nope Nope Nope.
It should be an easy resolution. Those notifications are automated and go out if you haven't made a payment and or have a balance that is not zero. The system isn't equipped for having credits since it's not a common thing.
My Comcast bills have always been weird. When I've had changes in my service, the next several months were all totally different on the bills.
One of my friends has talked me into learning to play Magic: the Gathering. Which means I'm going to the game store tomorrow to get a starter set. Any tips for asking for what I want without sounding like a doofus?
Tell them you want a Starter deck. Magic is happy to make it easy for beginners to get hooked.
And I realized that there might have been a package stolen. I have a mail box that's in an industrial style mail set up - everyone has skinny slots. And there are larger lockers. This past winter they put notices in everyone's mailbox saying they wouldn't be using the lockers any more because of theft issues.
I don't check my mail every day because it's usually just junk mail, but when I checked -there was a key to a locker. Which was empty. Actually all of them were open and empty. I didn't order anything and no one has notified that they sent me anything, so now I'm going to take the key to the post office and ask if they can figure it out. Or at least return it.
My parents usually let me know when they are going to send me something and use either UPS or FedEx so they don't have to deal wtih the lines at the post office.
Connie is right - just tell them you want a starter deck and the shop will get you hooked up. Once you try it and see if you like it you can go for booster packs and ask advice for getting those.
