Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

The Devil's Grin By A. Wendeberg

Don't read the description - major spoiler! Dummies.

People who like the Sherlock and the comic books should check out Watson and Holmes: A Study In Black [link], and then maybe go support their Kickstarter (which ends today) [link]

Pleased to report their Kickstarter is fully funded and then some!

Typo, may it be totally easy and you'll come out of it thinking, man, I am such a badass!

Thanks to the magic of Lidocaine, not as bad as I feared. Also, cause of symptoms was what I hoped, rather than what I feared.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Typo, glad the test wasn't too painful.

I sent my nephew his starting college care package from Think Geek. Tardis flash drive, a travel mug with the molecular formula for caffeine on it, a tardis journal, and the 5 in 1 geek pen. Hopefully he will like it.

Now, I really need to pack. Just for two nights, so not that much to do, but it does require me to get my ass off the couch.

And Zen, I kinda think being terrified beforehand seriously damages any badass cred I might otherwise have claimed.

Nah, Typo, only a fool is not afraid! True courage is to be afraid, and do it anyway! You are a badass m*f*.

Speaking of which, I need to schedule a mammogram.

Took K-Bug for a Colposcopy today. It went as well as possible. Gah, medical stuff.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I know I'm mostly a lurker these days, but I have a hive mind question - my doctor and I are trying me out on an anti-depressant/anti-anxiety med since I seem to be having a rough time getting past the events of the last year and half or so (certainly part of why I've been so lurky and less posty).

Has anyone taken Celexa, and if so, what was the experience going on/coming off etc.?

Thanks in advance.

brillig

Took K-Bug for a Colposcopy today.

I've had one of those. Ouch.

I just set up Kindle for Android on my tablet so I could read stuff I get from Bookbub. I had to synch my Google Play to my PayPal so I could get the app, and I'm hoping I don't go down the rabbit hole of genealogy apps and ebooks.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm on Celexa, though I don't have much to say. I've been on it for years and it works well for me. The one time I went off it, I titrated down with doctor's advice and had no problem.

Frank, I'm sorry to hear you've been having a tough time. I don't have any experience with Celexa.
