Blech. I'm having A Day. Starting to realize that, while I do think the social model of disability makes a lot of sense for a lot of things, it really doesn't work for chronic pain. (I'm not even hurting too much today -- maybe a 4 or so -- just looking into stuff to do, and realizing how much I can't do because it'll hurt, and doing my usual thing of balancing "how much will that hurt" versus "how much do I want to do that thing?" and I'm sick of it.
'Hell Bound'
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I'm shocked to find that I'm actually crushing on BC,
Me too! but hey! I'm just down the 405.... Oh wait, not talking about me. Never mind. Carry on.
(For those who don't know, BC is my name)
It's the hair.
It's the brain. And maybe the emotional unavailability.
I maybe have some issues with my choices in men.

Hil, I'm sorry. There never seems to be a correct answer to these questions.

I can so relate to this.
I find him attractive sometimes. Certainly as Sherlock, but sometimes he just looks a little odd.
Thanks, sj.
The time I found Cumberbatch most attractive was in the recent Star Trek film. But he was also at his least interesting.
I loved him best when he was photo-bombing U2 at the Oscars.
I caught the part of an episode of Parade's End, it was the second to last episode so I had no idea what was going on except Cumberbatch's character is an officer who has to repress his emotions and it's set during WWI and his wife is unfaithful (maybe) and there's scandal? Oh and his horse is really important. Or someone's horse, or maybe he's life is so out of control he's going to do something for the horse damnit!
Anyway his character's hair is blonde os I guess it's closer to his natural color, which is very anti Sherlock and the repressed part is very anti Sherlock,. His character isn't exactly sexy, but intriguing.
And I've read that either Gatniss or Moffatt has said that a lot of Watson's lines get cut because Martin Freeman will say (or has said) "I can do that with a look" so they just let him. ANd then he does. And Cumberbatch must be taking note because there are a lot of looks that say way more than what his character can actually express.

I feel this. HARD. Though I don't really find Sherlock attractive per se. Maybe a little. t thinks about Jonny Lee Miller's iteration of Sherlock Damn it.
I was amazed at how completely unattractive he was in August Osage County.
What did you think of that movie? I meant to see it, because the previews made it look, essentially, like Hello Steph Here Is Your Family On The Screen Embrace The Dysfunction. (And I, of course, eat that shit up. I love seeing other dysfunctional families, even if they're fictional.)
