Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Strix, sorry it's worse than you thought, but glad you got it checked.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

At home now, still woozy from 1 mg of Dilaudid. Turns out it WAS a kidney stone, but small enough that it would probably pass by itself, so no sonar booming of the stone is necessary.

I DID leave with a script for Percoset, which I've never taken. What's it like? Will it make me woozy and sleep?

I got a shot of 1 mg of Dilaudid, and it's made me ZONKED and I have fuzzy vision, but the pain has gone from a 7 to 2. sI find myself wondering how much ita gets every weekL HOW IS SHE FUNCTIONAL?!

It was very hard to write this post,

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

So glad you didn't get into a car and ride for eight hours, Strix.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

People's reactions to Percoset (hydrocodone + acetaminophen) vary widely. It knocks some people out, but keeps a smaller number awake. It does make some people nauseated. It just makes me feel fine.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Percocet often makes me unable to sleep...except when it does. I know that's totally unhelpful. I think, like Ginger said, that most people get relaxed/loopy/sleepy.

Dilaudid is awesomesauce. I hope you pass that stone quickly!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Percocet does nothing for me, good or bad. Strix, I've enjoyed some of your typos and I hope you are pain free.

Percocet made me puke like the exorcist kid. It was gross. Vicodin was my friend though.

Our wings are not tired

When I was hospitalized a few years ago I was on a pump getting .5 mg of dilaudid every 30 minutes. That brought the pain down to about a 6 or 7.

Percocet makes everything soft and fuzzy for me.

Welp, I collapsed like a dead thing after eating a little something post-ER, and slept for about 10 hours. I have to pee in this toilet-bedpan thing, and (UGH) strain my pee until the stone passes. Before coffee -- THERE'S a recipee for disaster!

Just took my first Percoset. We shall see if it makes me sleepy, nauseated or as crazy as a homicidal clown. I'm voting for pain-free and drowsy.

ETA: I just went back and re-read my posts! My typos WERE crazy!! It took me seriously 15 minutes each to write the on-Dilaudid posts!
